Great Replacement
This sponge foam fits perfectly In my Tidal35 as advertised. I added this on top of the sponge filter that came with my water filter for an additional filtration and I was still able to fit the matrix and a bag of purigen inside the filter. PROS: Great quality sponge, no cuts or modifications needed. CONS: Little pricey, one can buy a sponge and cut it for cheaper, but the quality won’t be there.

I have 2 Tidal 35 filters that use these sponges for the 1st layer. They rinse out well and last a long time. I bought 2 backups just in case I ever need them.
