The side rail assemblies were obviously made by someone who had never seen the ramp assembly. When the hand rails were connected, and the end risers connected to the ramp body, the center post was approximately 2" short. The holes were misaligned. The only way that I could make the assembly work was to drill new poles in the risers in order to connect them to the sides of the ramp' This does not allow the riser feet to connect to the post, therefore there is no real support in the middle of the ramp. I should have returned it, but I was too far into making it work. The instructions are not clear. For the price of this ramp, I expected something that would function.
