Q: How long do they last until they need to be replaced?

They seem to really hold up well. We’ve been using ours solid for a couple of months now & we have yet to have to replace them

Yes I throw mine in the washing machine about every 4 months and hang up to dry. They have lasted 2 years.

Q: That is the texture like? Is it very scratchy on your skin?

Its not soft, and kinda rough, but not scratchy. I would describe it more as a thick stiff fabric. However after about a month, it is not as stiff.
