Q: Does this work well with short hair? I know some products only work well with long hair.

I would assume so, we have long hair cats but we dog sit too and it clean up pretty good after all of the animals

This pet hair remover roller is upgraded from the original sticky roller. It doesn't use adhesive or sticky tapes. Collect pet hair into the dustbin so it's easier to clean.

Q: Can I use this directly on my cats?

Thank you for your question. The pet hair roller can be used to pick up pets' hairs dropped on furniture and fabrics, but it cannot be used directly on pets.

It picks up hair on flat surfaces well but it does NOT clean corners.
