The nostalgia is intense
I had one of these when I was a teenager some 30 odd years ago. When I saw these for sale I absolutely had to have one just to relive those years for even a little bit. I took care of my little tamagotchi dude for a couple of weeks before I realized that I am too busy to play this anymore. Hehehe I started over maybe three or four times and every time I realized that I just cannot babysit at the whole day through. So the little tamagotchi dude flew away after a day or just even a few hours of me not being able to take care of it. However, I will say that it was worth the time, the money and the effort to relive a little bit of my childhood. Again. The nostalgia was very very thick with this toy and I have hung it on a thumbtack on my cork board in my office so that I can look at it and remember the fun times. The battery life is great. It's been hanging there for about 2 or 3 months and not a flinch or a flicker. I really love the color of it. I love the look of it. I love that I can silence it too hahaha I would definitely buy it again as a gift for somebody.

Exactly as I remembered it.
I have to say it is less confusing and annoying than I remembered, and poops a lot less, but it's just as challenging. I do recommend pausing it if you want to take a shower while it's awake though. Mine was fine and freshly taken care of/played with until I stepped behind the curtain and turned the water on, after which point it melodramatically began screaming at me and played out an entire death scene by the sink while I scrambled to get the shampoo out of my hair. Silly thing pooped again, got itself sick, and croaked on me because I didn't wait for it to go to sleep before I started my own bedtime routine. What a brat. I love this thing.

saying I love them would be an understatement
I ordered one gen 1, and one gen 2, and neither have been a disappointment in any way-- in fact, I'd go so far as to say that I enjoy checking on them, watching them grow, feeding and playing with them, and seeing them smile. They may not be for everyone, but I personally can't get enough of these tiny little digital aliens inside their portable plastic eggs.

like i'm a kid all over again. haha
This thing is pretty sweet bringing me back 2 my childhood. only prob i have at all with it is seem's like u have 2 tilt it a bit to see the screen perfect because its so high glossed plastic its 2 the point it reflect's every single thing. Then it kinda seem's its a lil needy compared 2 the older ones but i read some where that at first its really needy then after u reach a certain point with it being alive it kinda slow's down a bit. But hand's down great product!

Brings back memories!
Not too much to say, it’s a gen1 tamagotchi! Brings back memories! I gifted this to my daughter and she loves it, tho I’m stuck caring for it lol… we’re having fun, she doesn’t get that sometimes it just dies even when we’ll cared for, but it’s a lot of fun. I was obsessed when they came out years ago so the nostalgia is nice!

Nostalgic
Nostalgia at its best. However the pets are very needy and don't survive long unless you give it your constant attention.

Great product!
I literally love this! I am a kid and my parents did this when they were younger. They bought me one. It’s so fun! You don’t have to always be with it, yet there is always something you can do. It’s super fun and I totally recommend.
