Honestly this is my third favorite microusb cord
Honestly this is my third favorite microusb cord. My first favorite and go to microsb are monoprice ultra premium white cords.... Second are the retractable zip cord microusb cords made by re-track. This is cool because of the coloring and overall feel of it. Seems durable and it stands out when I'm in a place with lots of people using their chargers you can definitely spot which one is yours.

Pretty good cable, no issues
This cable is good, sturdy, and has been reliable for me over many months. Charging and data transfer are both fast. The cable is coated in a heavy vinyl/plastic. I haven't had any problems keeping it staying connected to my devices. I would purchase this cable again.

Excellent length and good quality.
Love these longer cords. I bought multiples of blue microUSB cables for charging our Samsung S6 phones, so they are readily identifiable. Green was for OTG cables, red for MHL cables, etc. The connectors are still holding up well after moderate use for almost a year. I bought several of these at different times, but they seem to be the same manufacturer.

Good for Cultural Reasons
USB A to Micro B Colored Phone Charging Cable 3FT-TPE jacket-Orange The Good: Brightly-colored and distinctive from all the generic black or white cables that come as standard equipment with your cellphone or other USB-device. Hard to mistake for someone else’s cable. The Bad: Nothing I can see. The meat of the matter. Without the world-count limit, one would be tempted to just write: “It’s a cable, it’s orange, it works” and call it a day, but there are good reasons to have one of these cables that don’t show up at first glance and those reasons are all cultural and technological. The many companies that make cell phones have run into a technological wall in their designs that has changed culture. The super-competitive cellphone market has made manufacturers have to make ever larger and more powerful phones and “phablets” without being able to wait for battery technology to catch up to provide a full day’s worth of power with full use. The result of this has been a cultural change where many people have learned to carry their chargers and to consider any outlet they find open in any business to be a free, public source of electricity. We are now *stuck* in that culture—one that has upped the ante from just walking into a bar, using the bathroom and zipping out without buying anything to one where the worst of us zip into a bar or a café and think of sitting there for an hour to charge their phones as their royal prerogative. Here’s where the cable comes in. It’s sturdy, its plastic jacket is thicker than usual. It’s decently made and it is distinctive. Its distinctiveness is a good thing because the same people who don’t ask for permission to use an establishment’s current are the same sort of people who could always use an extra cable for their phones and if you notice someone leaving with yours and find yourself having to ask for it back, you get to be the person who doesn’t have to say, “Uh, it was, uh, black.” As the owner of one of these cables, you get to say, “The bright orange one you just took.” That, along with its perfectly competent function, is a very good reason to own one of these.

Great cord regardless of the price
These cords are very well made. The rubberized coating is strong, yet flexible. The micro end doesn't have extra housing around the tip which allows for smaller openings (my nexus 5 case) to accommodate the cable. The anchors on the micro end fit snugly into any receiving port and do not allow for accidental dislodge. 5/5 would recommend and buy again!

Stopped working - would have been happy otherwise...
Love the length - even like being able to use different colors in different locations - but it stopped working after a couple of months. The charger is not the problem since it works with other micro usbs - tried this cable in other chargers - not sure what the problem is but it won't work. BTW - this cable was being used to recharge my phone on the nightstand - not even nightly - so it was not getting knocked around and should have lasted.

Very good quality. Been using for about two months and the first three weeks I was on the road and the cables were in and out of my briefcase several times a day. Happy with this purchase, might buy a few more shorter ones.

Charges phone/tablet, when it works.
Cable doesn't make reliable contact with charging port in either my phone or tablet. When I plug them in at night, I have to move device and cable around until charging begins. I leave it alone for a minute, and then check back to make sure the position is stable enough that charging will continue while I sleep. I've tried other USB cables, and they make much more reliable connections with my devices. Ironically, the cable reliably charges my tablet when I'm using it in bed, as long as the tablet is in landscape orientation. After a few weeks of use (and a couple mornings with unpleasant surprises), I can get an adequate position quickly. No complaints about the charging itself, when it happens. Just be aware cables might require more patience than you're willing to give.
