Great carbonation with my isi soda siphon. Much less costly way to make seltzer.

These work fine. You can find them cheaper other places, but it's still much cheaper than sodastream.Sometimes most of the gas rushes out the back instead of into the siphon. I assume this is what people mean when they talk about "duds", but really the gas is there it just didn't make it into the water. I'm not sure how this could be the result of a physical difference in the cartridges, so I assume it's either because I overfilled the container with water and not enough room for the gas, or I've accidentally mislaigned the threads and screwed it on at an angle as a result. I have tried many cartridges from many brands and never encountered a true "dud".

My Soda Stream broke and I like to make my own seltzer (Carbonated water) I had an older Seltzer Maker which takes these chargers. Now I can make a Liter Bottle of Carbonated Water and use the soda stream flavors for making pop...

great for making carbonated water at home

MUCH cheaper than buying cases of canned soda water. We use TWO 1 liter containers and alternate them with a magnet on the fridge. Never run out that way. LOVE the product.NOW this was my 3rd or 4th order. They have changed the packaging on an order for 100. Now plastic encases the entire 10 boxes, and is Glued TO ONE SIDE, thus ripping the boxes apart, shredding part of the boxes when trying to take it apart. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN ANY WAY. Really TERRIBLE packaging.

We've purchased these burgundy and black packs in this quantity before. Only complaint is that it seemed like the original case could have been shipped successfully, but it was packed into another huge box. The individual cartridge boxes were a different color than what's shown in the picture - more of an orange instead of burgundy - no big deal. It does seem like these are fizzier than ones we've purchased before, but we love that, so we're happy.

These chargers work great. Normally I do notice slight differences in taste between different brands of charges, but with these I don't find any bad taste when compared to more expensive charges. I do recommend them, especially for the price savings. I have noticed many people saying that they use these for whipped cream. These are not for whipped cream, use NO2 charges for that. I actually did make a mistake and use a CO2 charge for whipped cream once. It tastes like the whipped cream fermented, not pleasant IMO.

I've been using these cartridges to make soda water for years without incident. Yesterday I put the cartridge in and shook the siphon as usual. However, when I removed the cap, it emitted a very strong, horrible smell, like some sort of toxic chemical. It permeated the water and made it undrinkable. I was able to eventually wash the odor out of the carafe, but no matter how many times I wash out the cap, it still reeks of that overpowering chemical smell.Has anyone else noticed this, and can anyone tell me what happened?! I'm really worried that something poisonous got into that cartridge!
