Q: We have been on the polish step for 7 days. Our rocks have no shine. How long does it take to polish the rocks to a shine?

They typically don’t shine ever. I put a few drops of mineral oil in my bag of rocks after they are done spinning to make them shiny

Q: What size rocks will this tumbler accommodate?

You can use any size rocks but the marble sized rocks work the best.

Q: We received this rock tumbler but when opening the package, it was missing the 3 polishing powder packets. Can we get replacements?

Thanks for reaching out! In order to avoid leaking polish and powder over the packaging, we have included all polish packs inside the actual tumbler. If you remove the orange cap, you should see them inside the tumbler. If that is not the case, please let us know!

Q: We leave the same water in the unit from the grinder before we add the powder, correct? It doesnt say to add clean water but i wanted to confirm. Tx!

No!! dont do that... the whole idea is to use successively finer and finer grit... so empty the drum... wash the samples several times.. then add new water and the next size grit
