Halva - Marble Chocolate, 25 oz

Quality with here, absolutely fresh, and delicious, full of pistachios!

Smooth texture and has a good taste. It was good size piece of halva for money. It was fresh. I enjoyed having a piece of the marble chocolate halva.

Purchased this because I always loved it as a kid and was missing it. It was really good, pretty much as I remember it, but I think because of age I’m no longer into really sweet things, so this seemed very sweet to me.

Its creamy, yet firm enough to slice. If you love Halvah, this ones for you. The package was pretty difficult to open... I had to have help. But, once it was open... it's very delightful. I put mine in the refrigerator because I like it cold.

The taste is ok, a bit too sweet perhaps, and I don't get any chocolate flavor. But it was poorly packaged (by Amazon?), so the plastic tub shattered, and some little plastic pieces got into the food. And of course, the lid does not close tightly anymore. Not happy. Can't return now because I ate some of it. Added later: the stuff got sticky and slimy after a few days, very unappetizing. In the trash it goes. Downgraded to one star. A total loss. But: Awesome seller, offered a full refund after reading my review.

My order arrived quickly and was well packaged. So, no issue there. The plastic container opened easily enough, too (I've seen others here complain about the container, both for opening and quality). My issue is the halva I received is quite dry. Halva should have a bit of oil to it and a slight to good bit of an oily texture. When you cut a slice or break a chunk off, it should want to cling a bit (due to the oil) instead of shatter like a dead, dry piece of wood. As a result, the halva tastes okay, but not great. Overall, I'm disappointed and most likely won't be purchasing this brand of halva again.
