So perfect for putting in my 8 windows that face my tree lined, city street. I didn't even take my coat off when I found them at my doorstep today. I rushed upstairs and put them together (a snap), the on/off switch is at the base of the candle-- you have to lift it from the silver candle holder. They work well with the remote and I was surprised when I found 16 AA batteries that came with them. That was a nice treat! Yay for some token Holiday generousity! As far as the crabbypants people who thought they look cheap, well, maybe under glaring, fluorescent lights and a magnifying glass, you won't be able to fool your nosy in-laws into thinking that you've put out real hand-dipped candles sitting in perfect silver candlestick holders that have been hand polished by your kitchen help. But I'm happy with what they are: darling little fake, flickery candles that I don't have to touch to turn on and that won't burn my house down.3 weeks later: Still LOVE them! I have them on the 8 hours timer: from 4:30p-12:30a. It's such a delight to see them in my windowswhen I come home from work. They are still going strong on the first set of batteries. I've ordered two sets. Out of 16 candles, only one didn't work and the company included a little note that if there are any problems, to contact them directly and they will arrange for replacements. I've asked for the one to be replaced and I'll keep you informed on how quickly it comes. Still highly recommend! They are darling.6 weeks later: Still still LOVE them! yay! I want to thank the amazing customer service directly from the company (I didn't go through Amazon but used the link they provide in a little flyer that comes with the candles). Out of 16 candles, only one didn't work properly. And since I had split one order with my mother, I asked for an additional remote. They immediately answered, then shipped the replacement candle a complimentary extra remote. It was a snap. They didn't even ask for the faulty one back which is even nicer. They still come on at 4:30p and after 6 weeks are still going strong on the first set of batteries. So order away! These are so delightful. xSo go ahead, order away.

I love the multi pack, we.decorated all of our windows, 12 of them. The large pack saved us a lot of money.

I do like the color of these candles..the glow is a definite warm light, not too bright. The suction cups are handy as well. But one candle is already turning on two hours earlier than the others. And has set itself to a flicker setting. We try to use the remote to reset it daily, and it does what it wants the next day. Wouldn’t suggest anyone purchase these. Defective almost immediately.****Editing this review ..we took the candle down, replaced the batteries, made sure the bulb was in tight, it had a bit of a wobble …and reset the timer and it has worked fine since, so for the last 2 weeks. Perhaps this is what happens when the batteries begin to fail, not sure. Either way, I would recommend. They’re a nice warm color, and aside from this flaw, which we were able to right, they’re a nice candle for the price.

I like these so much, this is the third box I order. The glow is soft, not a bright white, and flickers realistically. My ledges are very narrow so I must use the suction cups. They work fine. I like that I can set the timer so they go on when I want and shut off in 4 or 8 hours. I keep the controller in my box of batteries. Each box has its own controller and I have had to label the controller because one controller does not work for all. My only gripe is that if you have to move them to open or close the window, the timer stops working and they stay on.

While I don't usually take the time to write reviews, I did want to help others in making their decision when looking for LED Flameless Taper Candles, as there is so many brands and styles available, this time of year. TIP: Know your product when comparing to others - this package of (8) candles ALREADY COME WITH 2 AA Batteries AND a quality suction cup with a clamp, to attach to window. Candles are shipped in nice sturdy reusable box. Candles are packed in thin plastic tray but NEATLY held each candle in it's place (so they are not banging around in your box) with the suction cups and remote control in their own compartment as well. remote control was inside a cellophane wrapper and also came with a battery. remote control and candles each had a plastic tab to remove, (this activates the batteries and prolongs shelf life.) the candle light is plastic and screws into the candle stick (unscrew it to remove the plastic red tab). the on and off switch is on the bottom of the candle. the base, while gold colored plastic, is nice quality with protective felt bottom and they STAND UP STRAIGHT! there is a nice weight to the candlestick, not hollow plastic that would easily fall over. though hard to see in my photo, the clamp actually screws into the suction cup and is a solid little gadget to attach to your windows, if you choose this option. suction cups were quality and not cheap - they were soft and none of them were bent, warped or flawed. One sheet of nicely prepared instructions, both sides are easy to read on quality paper. after removing each tab, turned switch to "on" position, pushed candle into the base and clicked "on" with remote. 7 lit up, one did not. I tried to unscrew and wiggle battery, twice, still no power. replaced the batteries with two new AA and the light turned on. The remote control has two timer options, 4 hour or 8 hour, and I especially like the "flicker" option for the electric flame. After placing in my window, they really do look like real flames that flicker. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and will purchase a second set. So if you're concerned about the cost, don't be. shipped on time, arrived in great shape, a quality product that includes batteries, suction cups and clamps as well as a nice box to store candles in if you choose to pack away after Christmas. I like mine so much, I may leave them up all year! I hope you find my review and photos helpful. Let your light shine!
