One side of the pendant has a raised om symbol with meaningful words about harmony and happiness inscribed in the background, while the reverse side displays an om with words in the symbol. A very interesting piece.
The Om (or Aum) sign is the main symbol of Hinduism, it signifies God, Creation, & the One-ness of all creation. The three portions of AUM relate to the states of waking, dream and deep sleep.
