Meh...
Rubbermaid turntables are not what they used to be. This turntable doesn't turn as smoothly as similar products in years past, and it's not worth the price.

Does the job...
I bought this for my grandmother's fridge. She's wheelchair bound so she has limited access and reach to what's convenient for the rest of us. It's hard to find a sizable lazy susan to fill a fridge shelf, they're either too small (create awkward spaces) or too large (won't turn cleanly). This was about right. It allows easy access for her most-used items to where she isn't reaching and shuffling items. I have one in my fridge also to help find those items that we seldom access but get buried in the back. I have multiple ones in her fridge, counter and cabinets - it has been an excellent organizational tool. This particular product was not as substantial in construction as I had hoped, particularly the base. It's rather loaded up but cannot handle a full liter of soda well. For her and what she keeps on hand, it works. For the rest of us and our typical fridge items, it wouldn't be ideal. I would still suggest it to a friend, just don't plan on loading it up with canned goods or other heavy items.

A little flimsy
I had one of these that I bought several years ago from Bed, Bath & Beyond that I had under my bathroom sink. I piled my lotions and hair products on it. It beats digging around for them when all I have to do is turn the lazy susan. I thought I would get another for the other bathroom. Although both are Rubbermaid this one is more filmsy and not as sturdy as my first one but it will still work. It did come with a huge black mark on it that was hard to get off. I had to use one of those magic erasers on it to get it off.

Cheap, flimsy, but does turn NOW
Wanted to use this for my old, classic scrabble board, to make it rotatable. I wanted one big enough to cover the 14 inch board, to minimize tipping and maximize stability. I had memories of Rubbermaid products as being decent quality, albeit a bit overpriced. This turntable turned out to be close to a piece of junk. Cheaply made, flimsy, and not very smooth with rotation. I didn't need super quality for this application, but the rotation would constantly hang up. A turntable that doesn't turn well !!! Then it fell apart on me. During reassembly attempts, I inadvertently reversed the rotating part, and VOILA, it works better and smoother: "Accident - Mother - Invention".Rubbermaid: shame, shame.

Quality not what expected
I was a little disappointed with the quality of the turntables. I have two 10" Rubbermaid turntables that I bought quite a few years ago and the new turntables are not of the same high quality. The new ones don't turn as smoothly and the material they are made of don't appear to be as durable. However, they will work for my purposes--I think it's a case of "they don't make things like they used to."

Just Not Like It Used To Be...
Replaced my "Lazy Susan" exactly like this one. The only issue I have is this looked a little bit used because it had some scrapes on sides. Maybe it has been sitting for a while. But I needed it so...Also the weight of it is way cheaper than the one I bought years ago. It seems that nowadays everything is made so cheaply! Guess thats an issue with Rubbermaid.

the bearings are not as good and the edge is harder to get a grip ...
I've used Rubbermaid turntables in my cabinets for over 20 years, and some I have are that old. While I appreciate the extra inches this size provides, the bearings are not as good and the edge is harder to get a grip on to turn it, since it doesn't turn very well. It's OK, and I'll use it, but these "upgrades" were not really an improvement over the older design.

lazy susan didn't spin
I received a defective item - it did not spin. The seller allowed me to return it, but didn't provide a pre-paid return label. It would have cost me $10 to return a DEFECTIVE $25 item. I went through Amazon to receive my money back. Also, it was smaller than what was expected. The out "lip" of the turntable took up too much of the width and therefore made the actual usage space too small. I actually have a very old (35 yrs) old Rubbermaid lazy susan turntable that works great, just about half-inc too large for my new refrigerator and I wanted something slightly smaller, which apparently no one makes. The outside edge of my old turntable is a edge that rises up from the side, therefore I have the use of the entire surface- on this one you do not.

Disappointed.
I was actually disappointed in this product. Rubbermaid is usually reliable, but I ordered two of these, and neither one turns smoothly. I have a smaller one that I had ordered previously and that one worked great, so I thought I would buy the larger size to accommodate a number of other items. Still using them, they look good and can hold all the items I wanted them for, but would have been happier had they performed better.
