Origin8 Single-Ring Chainring Bolts

If you are looking for a super lightweight chainring bolts, you are at the right address. Very very light, colored nicely and, therefore they are black, exactly what I needed. As you can see on pictures, the weight difference is a factor of three.

Appeared to be a well-made quality product but I could not use because I did not read the description correctly. These are for a single chainring I need a double. The seller was very good about taking him back and refunding.

I couldn't find any company published torque specs for this product so I tried two different one based upon general guidelines I found online. 50 ft-lbs worked fine, 75 ft-lbs broke the bolt, but I had a spare. They look great, I just hope they stay put and function properly at 50 ft-lbs.

Worked great. Did what they were supposed to. I ordered some colored ones at the same time from another company and two of them snapped while installing. These worked perfectly. Could crank em down tight and not worry about them loosening or failing.

They look cool, durability is alright I had one break during installation could have been over tightened , never happened before.

While these gold chainring bolts matched the yellow on my bike perfectly, they're cheap. As I was loosening the hand-tightened chainring, one of the bolts' end snapped off into its shell and another was nearly stripped. I had only hand tightened them! Just be careful. Otherwise, they're cool. I'll have to buy a whole new set just to replace the one that broke, but they look cool enough that I'll purchase them again.
