Green turns to Blue then turns off when charged.

Q: Can the LED lights be turned off whilst in use instead of constantly flashing?

They flash blue whilst in use. Can't be turned off have tried.

Q: do these always have a green light on when switched on?

No they don't. But if you use touch feature they blink every time you use it.
