Both are great chairs.
I have both the Low-Back and High-Back Kelty chairs. I have the low for sitting a fireside, and high for inside the tent. On a rainy day it allows me lean back and read. Both are great chairs ... lightweight, well designed and built. If I was backpacking (I usually car camp) I would only take one with me, and that would likely be the High-Back.
