AD series radio WORKS. 99 Sienna
Worked for my 99 Sienna with the AD series radio. Just needs the extra hardware piece installed on the Bluetooth control board. Works great.

Had a bad start, but after installation, this this is great.
Mine just arrived for a 2001 Prius. I followed along with the installation video. I removed the cover and went to get the connector that this plugs into. No such connector was visible. So installation failed on the first step.My options were: return this, or find someone that had the tools, lighting, space and experience to get in there, and I went with the latter. I contacts a local car audio installer and they had it in and working within an hour. They even managed to get it work without disabling the CD player, which was one thing I kept seeing everywhere; that the CD player would no longer work.We used to use a cassette adapter and a RF adapter to connect to our phones, but both of these had the same problems; crappy audio quality full of static, and very low volume, meaning to hear anything, you had to turn the stereo volume up to near maximum, and then remember to turn that down before switching source or risk blowing the speakers. This thing is clean, and pretty much the same audio level as the CD or radio.

Bluetooth function fried within a year!
Device worked great for just under a year! One day Bluetooth does not want to come on, and never did from that point on. Now I have resorted to the AUX cable that was included, and even that wore out in about a month from daily use. Do not waste your money!!

Excellent value
2019-08-02:The GROM TOYOB3 BT device arrived quickly using Amazon Prime.I have a 1st generation Prius. The installation was easy. You simply removed the cowling around the CD player. There are two plastic retainers one on each side in the foot well area. Then you pull the cowling off with your hands. No tools are necessary. Then removed the CD player by removing the four screws. The wiring harness connects easily. It can only connect one way.The BT device paired quickly. I tried both an iPhone 10 Max and Samsung S9 Plus. I was able to make and receive phone calls. The next track/last track toggle button of the Prius functions perfectly.Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Plug N Plah
Bought this for my 2003 Lexus ES300 and it works like a charm. My phones paired quickly to the device and the sound is crystal clear. No issues at all. 100% worth the money.

Sounds good, relatively easy to install
Sounds good overall, and works how it should in my lx470. The two issues ive noticed is that the Module itself was a bit difficult to "hide," I finally managed to store it behind an area of the navigation bezel, albeit very tightly and somewhat precariously jerry-rigged. If it was just a hair smaller, it would have fit rather cleanly in a much better area. One other thing is that i wish it would have an interface that utilized an OEM button to automatically start playing my playlist without having to pull out my phone to open the media each. My GF's Civic automatically connects to my phone, and allows me to start playing music through the OEM controls, and its like a 2012 (i think).

Easy upgrade to an old system
Put this in a 2002 LX 470 with the Mark Levinson system. Worked flawlessly for phone calls and streaming XM and Spotify. Awesome product.

Works - but has issues
Recently purchased a 2003 Lexus ES300 that has an archaic stereo - with no line input or bluetooth. My previous car had these features, and I really missed being able to stream music as well as take phone calls safely and legally while driving. Tried one of those Bluetooth FM transmitter which was horrible - static on every station and totally useless. After a lot of research online - decided the Grom was a costly, but possibly worthwhile option. First unit I ordered was defective out of the box. It would stream music, but I could not take calls. I called Grom support - spent hours troubleshooting - getting new firmware and trying every trick before they declared it was defective. I sent it back and was mailed a replacement, which works better - but there is an annoying issue. The volume for phone calls is much lower than music streaming via bluetooth. When driving and listening to music and a phone call comes in, I have to raise the volume substantially to be able to have a conversation. As soon as the phone call ends, the music streams again - at about 2x the original volume - scaring myself and anyone else in the car. Irritating as hell. Overall product quality is also questionable. Basically a simple circuit board inside a flimsy plastic box. Not very durable or well thought out. The cable that connects the unit to the car stereo also cracked and had a part of the mounting bracket that holds it secure break off during installation - and I was very gentle and careful. It fit snug - but I taped it secure just to be safe. I guess this is better than nothing - but for the $, I would have expected higher quality construction as well as better QA and testing before these were shipped out. Only sticking with this since there are not other viable options out there.
