-- the range looks nice but problems
bought this at the end of 2014, so far used for 18 months. Here is my experience:-- the range looks nice that is why i bought it; easy to get connected with CS, but:-- ignition sparks keep filing with any one of burner is on-- one of ignitor files spark downwards so the burner makes useless-- don't know what kind of stainless material used, very soft, very easy to get scratches see attached pic

Happy Purchase
Its been only a week - and the stove is working flawlessly. The igniters all work the flame is able to go from high to simmer on every one.The flame is a beast - but because of its wide range on each and each one its easily adjusted.Oven is beautiful - and works as wellIts been around a month - still working great - keeping everything clean - especially around the burnersOven no issues - this is a mini chef Range imo

run away from it!
After 8 years we gave up on this range. Lots of problems, the oven light went out 2 months after we purchased it, it got fixed, couple years down the road the igniters kept clicking even though the flame was already on, this clicking became a nightmare, nobody was able to fix it. Some technician said that some valves may need to be replaced but he doesn't think they are available in the US. It got so bad the clicking continued even when all the burners were already off, the only way to stop clicking was to relight one particular burner and then shut it off. But then oven failed, at this point we have had enough and we junked it. Yeah, looks good but poor design, poor craftsmanship and no reliable service available.

Not Worth the Money
Unique range with 4 powerful burners and few bells and whistles, not even a clock or timer. Does have a great convection feature, though. Solid heavy stainless steel construction.Oven light won't go on unless you flip the switch. Great for Sabbath observers. Cast iron burners disassemble completely for easy cleaning. Blue porcelain oven is easy to keep clean, even without a self clean feature. Oven racks lock down and have to be pulled up for sliding. Electronic burner ignition is temperamental if all burner components are not perfectly seated.Update: After only 2 years both the oven ignitor and oven burner needed replacement, a key stovetop burner piece warped and had to be replaced and all but one of the burners either doesn't produce an even flame, the ignitor won't stop clicking, or the bottom piece doesn't seat properly. The serviceman couldn't fix it, said the parts are made in China of inferior cast iron. Getting replacement parts was a huge hassle, with the official distributer claiming they were back ordered and then another entity miraculously having them in stock. We love the stove's features, but it's not built to last

Unreliable
We bought this 30" NXR range in April 2014 and in May 2015, just one month after the manufacturer's warranty expired, the oven quit working (probably the igniter? We didn't want to put any money into repairs). We'd paid a little more to purchase the NXR from Costco so that we could return it if it proved unreliable. Thankfully, after much persistence, Costco did take it back and we purchased a range that had a much higher Consumer Reports rating than the NXR (it was a good bit cheaper too!) The NXR cooktop performs well but I was disappointed with the baking. Also I found it much harder to clean than other gas ranges I've owned (but it is beautiful when it's clean). The oven is very small which proved to be frustrating at Thanksgiving and other get-togethers. The NXR has no extra features like self-cleaning oven or delay start, which I knew when I bought it but I missed these features more than I thought I would.

we started out having problems from the beginning. the company did not want to honor their warranty. don't buy NXR. you get what you pay for.

Burner valves may be prone to leakage within a few years, creating objectionable odors.
I have this product in my home and love the high-BTU burners. My major concern is that 2 of the burner valves do not appear to shut off fully, so that, while there is not enough flow to sustain a lit burner, if I remove the heavy burner assemblies there is enough leak-by to that I can manually light a tiny sustained flame from the gas nozzles. (See attached images.) This leakage creates a faint but constant odor of gas around the stove. It is especially noticeable when first entering the house after being away for a while...which is not what I want to smell every time I return home. I would rate this stove at least 4 stars if not for the apparent gas leak problem.
