If you own a Ram 6.7L Cummins diesel, you absolutely have to have this specific filter or you will get error messages telling you that the diesel particulate filter is plugged up and forces endless regens. Honestly, I don’t know that the filter is decent quality at all, but I found out the hard way that only this specific model filter prevents that error reading.

Always use a mopar filter on the new trucks at least Cummins or it will throw a regen code.

Filter arrived on time as stated when ordered. It is not an exact factory replacement differences were different wire mesh top appearance, black seal instead of orange seal and there is 3 straps of glue on the bottom side of the paper filter. The filter does fit in the factory air box on our diesel 2022 Ram 4500. Appears to seal well and assume it will work fine. Coming from an automotive background disappointed I spent $49 when we probably could have spent the $27 and got the same replacement.

MOPAR OEM filter. If you have a black border on a current engine air filter for a 6.7L Cummins you have a fake knock off. MOPAR OEM filters have an orange border and no glue lines on the filter media itself. Numerous dealerships have unknowingly installed fake knock offs. Al engine air filters should be replaced every 12 months! I recommend this product.

Good product and $40 cheaper than the dealership.

I bought this after a search for an OEM filter. It came and does not match the other original filters I have bought, filter seal is black and the paper is white instead of yellow. I did some research on the Ram forums and it appears this is the replacement new part for the factory filter but the one pictured in the description is not what you will be getting.
