Incredible!
Damn, for a device that does not run on electricity or batteries, this makes some really ASTONISHING espressso coffee! The instructions on the box itself was super easy to understand. Got some french roast coffee powder and hot water ready, and started pumping out espresso coffee within minutes of receiving the box through Amazon! Easy to tell that coffee is coming out as you feel extra pressure on the device and the pump. You will know its done when the pressure gets back to being 'too easy'. The flavor of the coffee is dictated by the coffee powder used and my french roast espresso turned out super tasty! Cleaning this device was a breeze as you run everything under water. And once done, the device is put back in its original shape and its a very tiny looking cylinder thats driven by manual power to brew coffee! HUGE highlight for traveling and for times when you need a quick coffee fix and you are not near a coffee maker or a coffee shop.

Got Espresso
Excellent Wacaco Minipresso, but I opted for the larger Nanopresso and Nanopresso Barista Companion Kit. The Minipresso works well esp if you get it's side kick companion. I have large hands and the Nanopresso feels better in my hands.

Satisfied 100%
It works perfectly fine, produces a great coffee with a lovely crema and it’s so easy to use. Pro tip: pre heat the minipresso first with a bit of hot water

Excellent customer service after the outlet gauge broke.
UPDATED July 2nd 2016: I am happy to report that my broken part has been replaced by Wacaco and they honored the one year guarantee even when the Amazon returning policy had already expired. Costumer service was very courteous, informative and efficient, so just for that alone they deserve 5 stars, but just for the time I lost trying to fix the problem I'm giving them 4 stars only. The spare part took a while to arrive (about 25 days or so since the day I was shipped), this is understood since the spare part came from Hong Kong. TIP: Buy directly from Wacaco.com and avoid limited returning policy by Amazon. (Thanks to one of the other reviewers for providing me with the necessary info to solve my problem. As simple as looking for customer support at Wacaco.com) Now, let's talk about the product itself: As I said on my initial review I was very happy with this product until the day it broke. Now that the problem has been solved I can give you an objective review free of frustration. If you have seen the other reviews, someone said DO NOT DAMP. That person is totally right! This warning is written in the owners manual of the MiniPresso, but apparently not big enough since many of us have ignored the warning maybe inspired by the videos out there. Let me repeat it. DO NOT DAMP. This small machine creates enough internal pressure for your coffee. No need to damp at all. Just grind your coffee very fine and put a scoop in the filter. Let it stand somehow loose. Start pumping slowly about 7 times to let the hot water pass through and let it rest for a couple of seconds, then proceed to pump letting pass between 2 to 3 seconds in each pumping. IF THE PUMPING GETS TOO HARD DON'T FORCE IT. THAT MEANS YOUR COFFE POWDER WAS SET TOO TIGHT AND IT IS BLOCKING THE FILTER TINY HOLES. THAT CREATES EXCESSIVE PRESSURE AND YOU RUN THE RISK OF BREAKING THE PART AS I DID. Just open the machine and reload it again making sure the powder is loose. THE GOOD: The flavor of your coffee will be as good as if you were using more expensive equipment. I have tried as many as 7 different manual coffee makers and this is by far the one that produces the most concentrated flavor and thickest texture of the extraction. It is very portable. Perfect for camping. Some reviewers have said it is difficult to clean. I disagree. If you keep yourself organized the cleaning can be fairly simple. THE NOT SO GOOD. This machine was created for personal use, so the amount of liquid you get is smaller compared to other machines. Even with the extended water container (sold separately) you will get more water but the filter capacity will be still the same, meaning your crema will be more diluted and the flavor won't be as concentrated. Luckily for me when my first machine broke I got a second one as a present and now that I got the first one repaired I have two and that makes it easier for me to prepare a second cup of coffee right away. If you can afford a second one, go for it. You'll see how big of a difference it makes to have two. Otherwise keep in mind this machine is not designed for people who are in a rush and expect to drink a litter of coffee before starting their day. THE BAD Current instructional videos suggest damping the coffee powder which can damaged the machine. Spare parts are not available for direct purchase in the website directly, which makes it somehow difficult and time consuming to replace if something goes wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was so happy with my mini presso machine until it broke. Very portable and practical to take with me on camping trips. Yesterday the rim that holds the pressure rubber ring broke. I visited the Wako website for spare parts but they don't sell them. Meaning my machine is useless now. I don't know if I want to buy one again. I'm very disappointed. Amazon return policy is even shorter than the guarantee on this thing. I'll try to send it back to the manufacturer since the guarantee has not expired and I'll keep you posted.

I love it for myself
I am very happy with this purchase, it is very easy to use and the coffee tastes delicious, I don't need batteries or electricity, you can take it wherever you go. I would like there to be a double shot version, which is the typical recipe. For one person it is perfect, but making coffee for a family is a lot of work. So if you want to buy it just for yourself, I recommend it, but if it's to prepare coffee for more people, you will feel frustrated.

Best purchase ever!
This thing is one of my favorite things I've ever bought. With being in the digital world- it's amazing to be able to make my favorite drink without electricity. I love this!!! It is by far worth the very modest price!! The crema on the espresso is superb- better than my old electric espresso machine- I now use this in place of that because of the high-quality espresso it makes regardless of being in the house or not.

Good for camping.
Used this several times. Need to let cool down between uses so bottom can be removed. Used on canoe camping trip. Worked well.

Not sure if I'm using it right
I bought this as I live in a small space and instead of getting an Italian moka pot, I got this so I can store it much easier. First use was great. Immediately got about half a shot of espresso but then it took some work to try to fill the cup. I decided to just use what I got which was maybe about 3/4. Next use took even more work to get half a shot of espresso. Its also hard to be sure when exactly all the water has been used so when I finally am able to open where I put the espresso, sometimes I still get espresso leaking out. I also don't know how I'm supposed to prevent any of the orange parts from getting wet per the instructions. After the first use, I didn't find somewhere to place the machine so it could sit upright and left it laying on the counter so when I came home from school, open the compartments, water and espresso was everywhere. I tried cleaning out the compartments w/ just a paper towel but it wasn't doing that good of a job. Overall, I should've just gotten an Italian moka pot. Even if I could get a full espresso and easily clean this, I don't know how anyone can get a full shot under 30 minutes. I leave it in a glass so I can do other stuff while it drips but it just doesn't get to half now after just 3 uses. Maybe I'm just using it wrong but I've seen some videos and no one really gets into the cleaning up or shows how long it takes them to get a full shot of espresso. I'd be wary if you want this as a quick to go/space saving option
