Great knife great price
I am in love with my new knife!!! It’s been a very long time since I have purchased a new knife due to buying quality knife’s. But had a lot of family over for holidays and somehow my most favorite knife apparently got thrown away!!! I do a lot of cooking and baking so in a desperate need of a kitchen knife I ordered this one which had next day delivery. I am so glad I did!!! It’s the perfect knife for my hand size. Not too heavy not too light. It was perfectly sharpened from right out of the box as well!!! And it has a lifetime warranty!!! I will be looking into buying others from this company as needed plus I will be buying one more of this size as well. I have found if you cook/bake a lot you need 2 knifes this size so you do not have to keep cleaning it as you cook (same thing with measuring spoons and cups. 2 sets are a must). Thanks grandma for that wisdom you past down to me!!!! Again love this product

I like a good knife
I bought the J.A Henckels INTL Classic 8-inch knife as well as the Victorinox Fibrox 8-inch Chef knife in order to compare the two. I read a lot before making this decision and found that most people in my price range were comparing these two knives. My cooking consists of cutting lots of vegetables and meats. For that, I like a good knife.Instead of doing a list of pros and cons, I will just write what I would say to someone who is thinking of the Henckel vs the Victorinox. If you like a heavy weighted knife and an ergonomic feel, I would go with the Henckel. This knife is more comfortable to use over an extended period of time. I absolutely love the handle and weight of it. It fits perfectly in my hand (average size) and I feel very safe/comfortable using it. One interesting thing is the blade is sharper towards the end and gets a little more dull towards the grip/handle. I'm not sure if it's designed this way on purpose but I will probably sharpen it with a stone at some point. If you want an extremely sharp blade and you are going for sharpness over anything else, pick the Victorinox. This blade is definitely more sharp than the Henckel. I find it's easier to use on tomatoes and onion. I really do love the Victorinox knife and would love to only use it but the grip/weight/handle is just uncomfortable. The knife is light weight the handle feels cheap, and it's not very ergonomic. It's GREAT for short sessions (quick cut of a tomato) but for long sessions, the Henckel is where it's at.Both knives are fantastic. The biggest difference in them is how comfortable they are to use. The Vict is great for short cooking sessions but for long ones, the Henckel is better. But, as far as the blade, the Vict is definitely sharper and cuts through things easier than the Henckel. But, in the end, for me, I need to be comfortable and that's why I decided to use the Henckel instead. I'm giving the Vict to a friend. I hope this helped.. Whether you get the Henckel or Victoronix, you will be happy. For accuracy, these are the titles of the two knives I am reviewing. And for both, I give 5 star because they are fantastic. It just comes down to preference!J.A. Nice weight, sharp blade, although not very thin blade
Needed a good knife as I prepare a lot of vegetables daily. I like the way and it is sharp. I just feel the blade is a little thicker than I would’ve liked. Overall, a nice knife for the price point.

Very Good for the Price
I bought this to use as a practice knife for learning how to sharpen on sharpening stones. But I'm surprised how sharp the knife came. And the balance in the hand is very good as well. I bought this because it was a good price and I knew the metal was a quality blade. But was informed that if I bought this it only comes machine sharpened and not as sharp as it could be if hand sharpened. So just what I needed. But I was surprised that the blade was actually very sharp. I used it to make a meal and it cut through everything wonderfully. So now I can practice sharpening on it and have a great extra knife too. Recommended.

Very Sharp
Where has this thing been all of my life? I have many different types of knives but never a chef’s knife. I didn’t know what I was missing. This makes slicing vegetables so much easier. It sharpens up very well.

Unbeatable!!
My husband has been wanting a HENCKELS knife for a decade, he even went so far as to order a set once but ended up with counterfeits. I was very leery about ordering this for the same reason, but did my research and these are the real deal. The difference was obvious as soon as we got it delivered too. This knife is unbelievable! I've never seen craftsmanship quite like this before. WOW! Worth the money and if you can get one while it's on sale DO IT!!! We got a great deal on ours during Prime days around the holiday and I think we saved 40 or 50 % of what these go for. The knife is incredibly well balanced, sharp, and makes food prep so enjoyable! This knife in particular is a perfect size for my husband, he's pretty tall, and this fits in his grip well. It's really a well made, durable, and beautiful knife. I think we'll be ordering this brand in perpetuity. Like I said, if you can get a good deal - don't miss out!!
