Great product! For people having issue connecting to Windows...
Great product once you set it up properly. I too was having issues getting windows to recognize it. I'd plug it in and nothing would happen. Was getting ready to return it when I discovered there are 2 types of Micro-USB cables. One can only be used to charge devices. The other can charge and send data. The first two cables that I tried did absolutely nothing. It was the third cable I tried that Windows made the noise of a new device and it connected! And now I'm successfully using it for a project.

Excellent Atmega microcontroller, using for interfacing IBM keyboard
Used it to control an old-school IBM terminal keyboard to a USB port (using Soarer’s Converter firmware). This controller works perfectly, and had it configured in a morning. Value is very good and I needed it without the headers soldered.

Used these boards for my split keyboard
These were so easy to flash.

NOT as Advertised -Buyer Beware
I spent a few extra dollars to get the “stronger” micro USB port. It was advertised the micro USB port with brackets attached through the board giving it a “stronger” bond. Not true. What I received has the weaker port attached to the top of the board only. I’m never purchasing from this seller again!

USB Port “Weakness”
Amazing chip but, very true what the reviews say about the USB port being sort of weak. It only lasted about 3-4hrs with me. Broke same day it arrived. Don’t get me wrong, they work fine I even bought two more but, it would be nice to get a stronger one. Maybe there is a solution to this that I’m not aware of. Anyways, great little chip.

Not as advertited
The listing claims it has stronger solder points holding the USB connection in place. The item I received is not like the one shown in the picture, the soldering doesn't go through the board at all. It has the same weak attachment as the old one I wanted to replace, which can break while you connect the cable.
