What a good pick-up. Truth in advertising - this kit is a travel kit that doesn't sound like a travel kit. Peter Erskine was extolling the virtues of this kit at NAMM - everything he said was spot-on. Stock Remo heads are Ambassador-like. Kick actually projects for a 12 and the snare is downright amazing. I tuned mine way high and it's perhaps the best sounding snare I've owned. Nice work DW.
