Perfect for what I use it for

I have been wanting to do a strip rug but hesitated because I didn't know how to fold it for sewing. At a sewing retreat I saw a lady making a strip rug using this tool and was shocked at how simple it made the procedure. I immediately went to Amazon and purchased it. Does just what I want it to and makes the job so easy. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make strip rugs.

Giving this product a 5-star, because it is a nice product, however, I was hoping to use it in creating a jelly roll rug, and it does not work easily with the bulk of creating the jelly roll strip for the rug. I am using it, however only using one side to hold the fabric in a folded position before folding again to create the roll.

If you're using this for short strips, it should work OK. But to make a rug or bag of 50 yards of 2.5" strips (Jelly Roll) with batting between them, it gets all twisted up and once it's come undone it can't be recovered. You have to separate your strips at the seams to get it off the strip set. Horrible product. Can't recommend.

I had 6 or 8 layers of fabric and batting that just didn't work with this tool.

Arrived on time and exactly as described

I used this for the first time making a Jellyroll rug and it was a lifesaver. Easy to use if you take if fairly slow and steady. Saved me from using clips or pins. I would definitely recommend just go slowly.
