I absolutely love this movie!! It makes me cry every time. Such a wonderful love story.

Good romance movie. Older "Young Indiana Jones" gets foodied up by an older "Buffy" with help from a Magical Crab.

This is a nice little love story with a touch of magic thrown in. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays a would be chef who has tried to maintain her mother's little restaurant after her death without success. On the verge of closing she's sent a little, what we may assume is, heavenly help. The help is not only to save her restaurant but to also meet the man of her dreams, Sean Patrick Flanery. Flanery plays the part of a business exec trying to open a luxury restaurant chain. He's also not had much luck with long lasting romantic relationships. She's smitten by him. He's fascinated by her and her cooking but is reluctant, and at times scared silly.The movie is just pure fun with more then a few funny scenes, as people experience the emotions see cooks into her culinary creations. Everyone in our family enjoys this movie, old and young alike. This isn't gone with the wind but if you're after a little escapism, it great. For that type of film you can't do much better.

One of my favorite romance movies about a down on her luck restaurant owner Gellar falling for the manager of style of mall/ upscale restaurant being built. With a little magical help from a magically crab, we have the creation of delectable food porn desserts I still want to learn to create. Eating her food brings out different desires of those who eat the delicious treats. It's gets to the point where the hero thinks Gellar's character is a witch with all the strange things that happens when they meet. She's just simply irresistible to him. the supporting cast is wonderful too. I say learn how to create the delicious treats of this movie and have dinner and a movie while watching it a second time.

Love the movie just rented

It is a sweet and overlooked comedy, starring the superb Sarah Michell Gellar. Want something easey to digest, here's you're dish.

This is one of my guilty pleasures. I love everything about this film, the cast, the story, the cinematography, I could go on. I know most people would think it's a cheesy romantic comedy but who doesn't love a magic crab that helps a helpless chef full in love??? Not me that's for sure. If you want a light hearted romantic comedy that makes you smile this is for you!

So Happy this is available on DVD as for a long time it was only available in the US R1

A modern fairy-tale. Breaks the mold. Tongue in cheek humour. Alternative and funky. Different to most Hollywood movies. I like it. Good fun. Ignore the critics and let your hair down.

I'd part seen this on TV a couple of times and was dying to find out the ending. Lame, hammy and predictable cliches. Not unpleasant but no worth the time you'll never get back.
