We use a combination of essential oils and fragrance oils in all of our fragrance blends. All of our fragrance blends are phthalate free.

Q: Is the container plastic?

No, it is cardboard and their powders are not fine like many, but more coarse. I found, after smelling it, that it was an overpowering fragrance and i did not like it at all. I buy the sandalwood for my husband, but we are not going to continue because the containers changed and they don't have sprinkle holes. He has to put his in one of their old containers that does. The sandalwood fragrance is nice, but the powder is messy because it is so coarse texture. Half of it goes on the floor. I am not recommending the product.

Q: For how long is this powder effective before it needs to be reapplied?

That would depend on how much powder you apply, where you are applying it, and how much you are sweating. Many of our customers say they put it on before engaging in a warm weather activity and it prevents sweating and chafing. Once the powder has worn off it would need to be reapplied.
