Aug 2023: I bought a set of these in Nov 2022 and loved them so much we wanted more for our other closets. Bought a second set in March 2023. All lights have performed perfectly as automatic closet lights. We installed them above or to the side of the inside door trim in our closets so as soon as you open the door and reach in, the light comes on. They detect motion perfectly. They aren't used multiple times a day, but get regular use, and the NiMh rechargeable AA batteries last for at least a couple months, if not 3 or 4. Alkaline would last much longer. I love that the light never appears to come on improperly--wasting battery (I'd see the light around the door gaps if it did). I had other motion lights that triggered improperly and wasted battery rapidly. These are also bright enough that one wand at the top of the door behind you can illuminate our 4' x 6' closet fine for us. Use two (or alkaline batteries) if you need even more light. LED lights will flicker, go out, or simply not come on when batteries need recharging.The motion sensor can be angled separately from the light to change where motion detection is desired (i.e. shine the light forward, but detect motion to the left where the door is). I'm very satisfied with these and would recommend them.

These motion lights are perfect! Hello, shine on me!I have an L-shaped desk and a tower kinda on the side. My room's overhead light and desk light are not able to shine light in the corner space where my printer is located so I was using the flashlight from my phone and I'm telling you, my phone started feeling like a bag of bricks after holding it up for so long.I was looking for touch lights and stumbled across these bad babies and it has almost been the greatest thing I've added to my desk!The motion sensor swivels back and forth so it can be adjusted if it is too sensitive to the room's motion/activity. It only stays on for about 10 secs in that mode but it can be switched.I was concerned about the magnet but it has a nice grip and super easy to install.The lights are pretty bright and give the appearance of natural daylight. They're bright enough to completely light the corner and radiates just about 2ft.I'm super impressed and want to get more so I can tell when my children are coming into my office. They seem to come in while I'm on video calls, ugh. Quarantine life.I would buy these again.

These are great the lights work well and are durable. The problem is the adhesive on the holder does not stay on your wall, after two days both of these fell. The lights did not break but the magnet sticky holder did not re-adhere to walls.

I put these in the bedroom closet and the laundry closet in the hallway next to the bedroom. I wake up at 4am for work and turning the light on in the room would sometimes wake my wife. I tried getting ready in the dark but that led to shirts being put on inside out or backwards. I found these and decided to give them a try. Very easy to install, I just used the adhesive tape to place them in the location I wanted then used 2 small screws (each light) that I had to secure them. Make sure the screws are small enough that they don’t stick out and your light can securely attach to the magnet. I set the sensor so that it’s facing the back of the closet because I don’t want it to be so active and drain the batteries (haven’t changed batteries yet and had these a month). It works just fine this way and I don’t have to turn on the bedroom light or the hallway light when I’m getting ready in the morning.

Pros: brightness, motion sensor, convenience.Cons: light only stays up on its own for maybe 30 minutes.I have these installed in my closet. The first week, they stayed up great. After the second week, I noticed they fell down.The part that sticks to the wall is fine, but the magnetic part seems to be faulty or just low quality. Currently the lights stay attached to the bracket for less than an hour at a time. They constantly fall off. The closet is not used much, so it's not like they are being bumped or disturbed in any way. They just simply drop from the wall.

I like the automatic on/off feature. Batteries last a long time.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these lights. I needed under counter lights in my kitchen. The two light sticks are perfect for my needs. The base has an adhesive strip that sticks to the underside of the cabinet and the light stick rests in the magnetic base. This, and that they use batteries, allows the light stick to be removed and used as a flashlight. The light stick can be turned on for steady light or set on motion sensor and will pop on when something moves past it. I have both lights set on motion sensor. At first one of them wouldn't sense movement, but seems to be ok now. It seemed to be the location as both sticks did it in the one location while both worked fine in the other location. The amount of time the light stays on is very short, but will stay on as long as there is constant motion. I would recommend these lights for any place light is needed and electricity is not readily available.
