Genuine salve; the original and best.
Practical and well-priced stocking stuffer. For lips, cuticles, scratches, and just plain dry skin. Though rose scented it is pleasantly unisex, suitable for the family, and it lasts forever.

Smells amazing!
Got this for my friend’s birthday, I also kept one for myself. This is amazing stuff. The product came in good condition, and was ready to be gifted immediately. It smells amazing and is SO hydrating. Gives you that perfect pink glowy finish.

This is good stuff.
Good product for lips, gives a little glow but also good for skin irritations. Nice soft scent. The tin is a convenient size for a pocket or small purse. It’s a little hard to open sometimes, especially if you’ve already applied and your fingertips are slippery, but it just takes some getting used to.

I couldn't love this lip balm more!
I spent a long time looking around for lip balm that both smelled great and actually worked. I have very dry lips so my standards for lip balm are very high. I used to frequently have my lips bleed and tear while I slept because my lips were THAT dry. I tried Chapstick, Carmex, Burt's Bees and more. I struggled to find anything that actually worked, let alone smelled good. These Rosebud salve tins have saved my lips. While I do have to re apply regularly, my lips are actually soft and I am no longer waking up with blood on my lips and in my mouth. So that is why I am giving 5-stars.Now to my few complaints, the lip balm is easily melted, so you can't carry it in your pocket on a warm day. Once it melts, it can reset however, you have to be very careful to make sure that while it is liquid you set it fully straight, otherwise you will end up with the majority of the balm on the lid and in the crevice between the lid and the bottom. Also, the container itself is a bit odd. All of the outside of the container has a smooth coating while the inside does not. So, there is a little metal-on-metal scraping sound when opening the lip balm that I don't like. However, the downsides are vastly outweighed by the quality of the product itself, so I do highly recommend this lip balm.

This is the best!
I picked up a tin of Rose Salve at Anthropologie earlier this spring. I had been (seriously) suffering from super dry, flaky skin on my eyelid and eyebrow...itching, flaking skin. After using many different products, and after getting no satisfaction from a dermatologist, I had almost given up. My eyelid was a mess, it looked awful and felt even worse. After using Rose Salve for one week, it all cleared up! Needless to say, I was very surprised. This little, inexpensive product was the answer. It's also great for chapped lips, minor skin problems, and is just an all-around great product. I have since ordered a 4-pack from Amazon...I don't ever want to run out!

Rosebud
I have used Rosebud salve for many years. It's been around for over 70 years. I love it for chapped lips during winter. I even use it on minor scrapes on my hands. It's the best.

GREAT STUFF! I HAVE LOVE IT FOR YEARS!
This stuff is WONDERFUL! If you have any dry areas on you put a little dab of this on it. From what I understand this stuff has been around forever. It reminds me a little of vasaline except this stuff absorbes and makes your dry spots go away. I recently found out I have hypothyroisism and I kind of knew something was wrong because my skin would get so dry, then harden, then crack & peel off..... ON MY FACE!!! Can you imagine? It was in one spot, and only a small spot, but seriously on my face! Right between my eyes on the top of my nose. That & a few other lovely symptoms like my hair falling out has not made me a very happy person lately, anyway this was something I had just always had. I kept it around for chapped lips and cuticles. So I started putting some on my lovely face scale and it went away!! I'm not going to tell you some phoney it was gone in a second, and I was being treated for my thyroid problem. It did not CURE a skin problem, it helped to graduly resolve the ugly dry alligator looking hide on my face. I also have used it when I bought a lipstick that was just too much. It blends with the lipstick & turns it into a more subtle gloss. With the dry cold weather we have been having I put it around my eyes before I go to bed. I actually have used this little tub of salve for many problems. I love it! I haven't ever seen it stain anything either, but I have never flat out smeared it onto a cloth to see if it would. The only negative I can think of is the container, or actually opening the container with it on your hands can be difficult. I think they need to add that little twist thing that is on shoe polish cans. I don't really want them to change to a different container just make it a bit easier to open. I actually saw when I placed my last order that you have the option of little tubes.
