The quality is okay for the price but the glittery ones get glitter everywhere.

Q: how many balls can decorate the 6.5ft tree?

It depends on the size of ornament you decide to get and your preference on how full you like your tree to be decorated. I have a 6.5 ft tree and believe last year I purchased 2 packs of the small (1.57) 2 packs of medium (2.36) 2 large (3.15) and also had about 50 from the year before along with some different ones i picked up from Dollar Tree (about 20). And I had a pretty full tree. If you're purchasing just the small（1.57）, I would definitely recommend at least 5 packs.

They are made of plastic but very well made.I am quite happy with these decorations
