Awesome game!!! And the best part about it , it works on win7 64 bit with no compatibility problems for my Dual GeForce 590 ti cards. installed fine and runs great, im already on the second quarter of the game. If you like the old school monster movies, with a little bit of mafioso mixed into it with a dash of hellboy, youll love this game.

Another extraordinary oddity of gaming history
Another extraordinary oddity of gaming history. Antiquated graphics do not diminish the dark, noir atmosphere. The voice acting and writing are sufficiently cheesey yet fitting of the style.

A fun, vintage detective game set in the 1920's!
I bought this because it was cheap but it ended up being fun! Yes, I bought this years ago from Best Buy for $9. I was in the mood for a period thriller/horror game, like a detective game. I looked at the back cover and the graphics in the images looked good enough. Now, I want to say even back then when I played the game, the UI (user interface) was kind of stilted. The main character's name is Stranger (which was lame to me), and it was hard to control his movements. It seemed like the controls were lagging or something.Anyway, aside from that, i did like the levels and really enjoyed the sound effects. There are I think 4 different missions in this. It's Urban Fantasy, so there are vampires, werewolves, zombies, and just different creatures. The game takes place from the 1920's through the early 1930's I think, so the weapons available are just things that would be available in that era, like a Tommy Gun or a stick of dynamite. While that's authentic to the era, I think the game could've gotten away with unique, handcrafted weapons like they have in Dead Rising 3, for example . In DR3, the main character knows how to gather old junk & craft his own weapons, which end up looking like things we've never seen before because he makes them just off the cuff. I would've loved to have seen something like that here in this game because frankly, I got sick of the Tommy Gun.The gore wasn't that great either. Enemy bodies flew apart when blown up or shot with a shotgun, but they were dry with no blood really.Any any event, that's all I really have to say about this for the moment. there's really no point in going into too much detail because I see how other reviewers have already done so. I think this game is a good price in 2015 for, say, $5 or something. but don't expect this 1999 game to stand up really in any way to 2015 NextGen games. You will really be frustrated if you do.

Die MOLLE-Scheide ist von außergewöhnlicher Qualität. Sehr zufrieden mit meinem Kauf.
It's difficult to invoke suspense and tension in a computer game, but games like Nocturne keep trying. Nocturne borrows heavily from Capcom's Resident Evil third-person action-adventure games, which in turn stole their creepy style from Infogrames' Alone in the Dark series. This formula calls for claustrophobic scenery, bizarre camera cuts, unexpected encounters, and a scarcity of ammunition, and on first impression, Nocturne follows this formula precisely. On first impression, Nocturne is also one of the best-looking games of the year. But the game reveals its true colors soon enough, and you'll quickly begin to find its flaws one by one, one after another, until you find yourself trying to play a game that isn't as scary as it tries to be, nor as visually attractive as it might have been.
Even so, Nocturne looks bleak and beautiful. Its weather-beaten worldwide settings of the early 20th century, from German castles to runaway trains to Chicago gangland, are realistic in appearance and cinematic in presentation. Nocturne's stoic hero, the gravelly-voiced no-nonsense secret agent known only as the Stranger, is detailed down to his ruffled necktie and trench coat. His many enemies span virtually every breed of monster you can imagine, including werewolves, vampires, zombies, and demons, and most every one of these is a fearsome reinterpretation of its classic horror archetype.
But it's Nocturne's absolutely stunning special effects that are especially impressive. Instead of the usual variety of eye-popping colored lights and full-screen pyrotechnics, Nocturne's effects emphasize the game's darkness. Each character casts a perfectly realistic shadow, which stretches and bends and divides depending on that character's location relative to any nearby light sources. The Stranger's gun-mounted laser targeting devices cut through dense fog, and while his flashlight isn't much help in dark places, what luminosity it provides looks incredibly real. You'll catch yourself gawking at Nocturne's graphics all the time.
