Q: I imagine many of you(me included) buy this as an alt to Macuhealth and Macushield. Are the amt of ingred similar to those other products?

This has more lutein and less of the other two ingredients than Macuhealth and Macushield. I would not buy those two products because they are vastly overpriced. Look around for other brands as this brand doesn't tell you the amount of the meso-zeaxathin and zeaxanthin. That is likely because it has very little of those two ingredients.
