Damaged Screw Extractor Kit, Easily Remove Stripped & Broken Screws

I purchased this and used it to remove screws from a damaged Nintendo switch controller that someone else had rounded the screws off in. It worked great. I have used it on numerous other electronic devices, including Toyota key fobs for battery changes, and it has accomplished every task I have set it. If you need one, this one is great.

I bought this product to remove a floating shelf bracket as the screws were chewed but I haven't clue how to use them they came with no instructions or advice so unless you know how they work it's not worth buying

I cannot seem to get it to work as intended - drill bit and then extractor bit, it doesnt do anything, I could be doing it wrong. I moved up to the next size and started drilling the screw in my MSI laptop, and the next size up drill bit ripped the screw right out. Same for the next broken rung screw on my laptop. Smallest bit is tiny, biggest bit is pretty big. Great for laptops, tablets, etc.

I do not understand how some 'purchasers/users' have submitted positivde feedback on this set of 'extractors', the sebt I purchased is proving to be totally useless.I purchased the set to remove 4 old screws in hinges on a 300 year old door, so I believed the 'positive reviews' as I wanted to be sure of getting clean extractions.I have just finished testing it's capability on a single 10 years old screw in a 20mm thick piece of fencing board. I tried different sizes of 'drill' bit and 'extractor' bit and none worked at all.The 'screw' bits failed to sufficiently penetrate the screw and the 'extractor' bits also totally failed.I feel Amazon should have a better feedback vetting system as most Amazon listed products do what the description says.Such a pity, this is my first Negative feedback on Amazon over 20 years.

I had managed to wreck the slots on some posidrive screws on one of my guitar cabinets and therefore couldn't get the back off it. I sent for these to do the job. I tried various combinations and the results were bizarre.First of all none of the ends that were to get the screws out (the ones with the helix threads) got a grip of the screw. Out of the three that were wrecked, the first bit that drills the hole actually engaged with the screw and started to undo it. Not sure why. Of the other two, the first process sheared the head off the screw completely and left it stuck to the bit. The sum total was that I got the back off and got the screw threads out with pliers.I had to use the pliers too to get the screw heads off the drill bits.In short, It would probably have been just as easy in my particular case to drill the heads off because the screws being 30mm meant there would be enough to get out the end no matter what. As for more delicate uses, not sure how good theses would be. It could easily be user error of course but I was not over impressed.

I'll be honest, after reading some of the reviews I didn't have much hope for this product but I figured I'd rather chance it than pay £45 service fee from repair shops. I was pleasantly surprised as although the drill bits do look cheap, it successfully extracted the stripped screw I was trying to remove from my laptop base plate. I haven't tried the other bits so I can't give my opinion on them, however the Ex9 bit worked perfectly the M2x5 screw. Make sure to set the drill to reverse and apply medium pressure. The process took no more than 3 minutes. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I must admit I was a little concerned when the set arrived as some of the pieces looked very small but, having now used 3 of the smallest pieces, they perform like a dream. I have been trying to change the bulb in an outside security light for months, it took 10 minutes with this set to remove the old screws whose heads had sheared off.The set also comes in a plastic box with each piece held in a foam base.A must have.

I brought these to remove a tiny screw with no thread on a controller I'm restoring.Pros:Nice selection of sizes for a small kit.The case is a nice touch to store and organize.Cons:5 of the bits had rust on them once I noticed the first I removed all to check - this wouldn't bother me usually as I could clean it off but its a new product.The steel quality is generally poor - it did the job...once.Overall disappointed in the product function and the rust was just a let down.

Helt ovärdelig när man behöver den, fungerade helt utan problem på pluggade skruvar.Tänk på att maskinen måste ”backa” vid borrning och urdragning.

La punta più piccola si è rotta dopo aver tentato più volte, inutilimente, di forare ed estrarre una vite con testa rovinata. Forse con alcune viti più tenere, funziona meglio. Punte non molto taglienti su materiali duri ed estrattori non efficaci se non si effettuano fori sufficientemente profondi

Le doy 5 estrellas, no se la durabilidad que tendrá pero conseguí sacar un tornillo partido por caida y clavado en la rosca con una "relativa" facilidad que me sorprendió. Unicamente con golpe de punzón marcador, mojarlo bien en afloja-tornillos efecto frio y la broca más fina para cambiar luego a la siguiente y para mi sorpresa salió al enganchar la segunda broca. Me ha ahorrado dolores de cabeza.
