The Hillman Group 47772 6-Inch x 2-Inch Coarse Thread Drywall Screw with Square Drive, 1-Pound, Black

So, I purchased these without reading the description properly. Thought I was getting Phillips head screws. Totally my fault, that being said these screws aren't very dependable. You need a square #1 drive bit (little annoying changing the bit constantly) for these and they torque down well if you can get it in without the head snapping off. I would say I had a 50/50 shot of getting the screw in without it snapping. Not worth the time or effort to use. I threw them out. I was using these to re-attach old thick sheetrock to studs. They would maybe work better for new sheetrock and softwood studs. I've read other reviews that said these were size 8, mine were skinnier and def size 6.
