Q: Can you use it to mount a tablet to the top or above the laptop screen?

Possibly. You can see the mounting method in the photos. I think it may work depending on the size and weight of the tablet. It works great for a phone as the magnets are strong but all three mounting points are magnetic (thus the weight concern)

Q: How would i install it if i use a computer case on my mac book pro?

It "attaches" to the computer using two magnetic disks so it can be removed easily if the case is for carrying only or it can be used on the case. Also it pivots when not in uses. Look at the pics closely and this will make more sense.

Q: I love this product. I installed them wrong on the computer (wrong position). What do I use to remove them?

Put a little bit of water around the iron piece, and then use something to lift the iron piece out of a little gap. Wait for the water to seep in. The iron piece can be easily removed from your computer.

Q: Due to the glue that holds it to the laptop, does it have an issue removing it. I have a work laptop that would be perfect but I can't risk damage

The adhesive for the magnets is very sticky, I would not recommend it if the laptop is a work machine
