Q: Has anyone tried it on a CalKing?

I have tried to use this on my king bed to no avail , the worst item I ever purchased .even though it has ajustable elastic straps & no matter how tight or loose I made it the bed skirt would not stay in place .

Q: Is the “gold” bed skirt yellow or gold? The picture looks yellow but the color listed is gold. Thank you!

The skirt I purchased is ivory.

Q: Instructions say "do not iron." Why not? The fabric content is 75% polyester and 25% cotton. There should be no problems ironing this blend.

I would try to iron a small piece on the end to see if the fabric melts or marks, however, I simply fluffed in dryer and took out right away so there were no problems with wrinkles. Have to say have not washed the whole bed skirt yet.
