Rit DyeMore Liquid Dye, Super Pink 7-Ounce

The Rit Dyemore Advanced Dye for Synthetics worked really well. I purchased this product in order to dye a sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants. The clothing I was dyeing was a 50% cotton – 50% polyester blend, so I needed dye that work for both. This dye by Rit claimed to be able to dye both natural and synthetic fibers so I thought I’d try it out, and boy did it work well! The final result was a vibrant, even coloring on both articles of clothing. The dye successfully worked on both the cotton and polyester. The color was perfectly flush with no uneven light or dark spots. The product comes in a 7-ounce bottle. This is supposed to be able to dye about 2 pounds of fabric. I used half the bottle and was able to dye the both pieces of clothing at the same time. My dyeing method was pretty simple. I just filled a bin with enough warm water to fully submerge the two pieces of clothing. I then drenched the clothing so it was already full of water in order to equally accept the dye. Next, I poured in some iodized salt and half the bottle of dye. I read online that the salt helps with the potency of the dye. Then I placed the clothing in the dye bath and made sure it was all fully submerged. I mixed this with tongs in the dye bath for about 30 minutes. When the time was up I removed the clothing and rinsed and wrung it out with until the water ran almost clear. Finally, I just ran it through the dryer and voila, it was perfect! Overall this product worked very well and I highly recommend Rit products for any clothing project you may have. I give this a 5/5!

Used it to dye synthetic hair pony tail extension for Halloween it worked so well. The color was nice. I should have left it in longer but I’m happy.

This Rit for synthetic is perfect! We need to dye a wig for Halloween and failed using regular Rit. Then found out they made specifically for synthetics. 🔥🔥🔥. It came out exactly as my daughter wanted. I just wish there were more color options

I had a fleece shirt (94% polyester, 6% Spandex) in a color that was too drab for me. Dyeing it with the Super Pink, I expected to see a dusty rose/purple, which is exactly what I got. The white label turned out pink little the bottle tag promised. (see pictures). I needed to watch the process on the stove, and use tongs to keep the shirt submerged, which assured a consistent color. This dye is VERY strong and after rinsing a gazillion times in a stainless sink, with the water (almost) running clear, I lost my patience and threw it into the washing machine with an old white towel. And again with another white towel. And one more time...Still the third towel got colored (last picture)! Plus the shirt shrank quite a bit. So bear in mind: you'll never wash your piece as hot as it's required for dyeing (close to boiling), so it might shrink. Also be sure to wear gloves. Although those never got in contact with the HOT dye water, they got stained (Nitrile gloves, see picture). Wouldn't want that on my hands. You'll need a lot of time, patience, water, and electricity...I spent much more on the dye etc. than on the shirt LOL.

This awesome product did dyed my clothes but it is meant for synthetics items like wigs, polyesters, and other synthetics items. My jacket is not one of them so instead a cool hot pink, it is a fuschia color instead. It did dye so beautifully tho.

Worked well. Covered a skirt and shirt and felt like it could have dyed more things if I wanted! I followed the directions closely and it worked well. The color is durable and stays the same after multiple washes! Make sure to follow the directions CLOSELY! It was a great value for the price and I got a lot out of the size. The seal was good and came packed nicely,

The item I dyed is 100% polyester. It was originally a vary pale, almost nude/blush pink (not flattering for my fair skin) so I wasted to make it more of a light pink color. I was set on the rose quartz color but I understand that it’s not for polyester so I was a little skeptical going with the dye more super pink, as I was afraid it would come out way too pink. I followed the directions and only kept it soaking for 30 minutes. I was a little nervous at first but bc it was still wet I knew I had to give it time to dry for the final color. Even though I was going for. Lighter pink than how it turned out, honestly I’m super impressed with the color. It’s still a beautiful light pink color with a nice blush tone to it, which I love. Overall I’m very impressed and happy with how it turned out!

I definetly received a fake product but the letters on it are all blur (very different from the picture) and the packaging is also slightly off. Furthermore it didn't dye my synthetics only naturals although i followed the instructions down to the letter. So I think they just gave me the regular pink dye in a recycled bottle or a fake one.

Reçu dans ma boîte aux lettres alors que noté sur l'e-mail noté livré à +/-30km de la maison. Bref, j'ai teinté mon corsaire et je suis hyper contente car il est comme neuf. Teinture à chaud. Mode d'emploi écrit très très petit et pas en français mais mon ami google a tout traduit.

Der Farbstoff hat so super funktioniert, dass ich mal eine Rezension schreiben muss, um anderen Hoffnung zu machen, auch Kleidung einzufärben. Ich wollte das Kleid meiner standesamtlichen Hochzeit einfärben, das komplett aus Polyester und Polyamid besteht. Das Waschetikett besagte, dass es besonders schonend bei maximal 30 Grad (Feinwäsche) gewaschen werden sollte. In einem Artikel las ich, dass Polyester eigentlich nicht einläuft, aber sich die Struktur verändern kann. Da das Kleid mir nicht so viel bedeutet, wie das Kleid meiner kirchlichen Trauung, habe ich es einfach versucht. Das Kleid habe ich in den 60 Grad Waschgang gegeben und nach ca. 20 Minuten zwei Farbflaschen und 3 Liter heißes Wasser über das Waschmittelfach zugegeben. Dann ist das Programm zu Ende gelaufen. Danach habe ich das Kleid mit einem alten Handtuch im Schonwaschgang gewaschen. Die Gummiabdichtungen sind etwas pink geworden, dass ließ sich aber durch eine 90-Grad-Maschine lösen. Das Kleid ist weder eingelaufen, noch hat sich der Spitzenstoff verzogen. Die ober Spitze aus Polyamid ist wirklich "hot pink" geworden, die Polyesterschicjt darunter ist zart rosa geworden. Alles in allem ein voller Erfolg.

Just put it in some water in a pan with the stove on low. Turning with tongs about every fives minutes for half an hour. Then rinsed in stainless steel sink. Do not walk with rest of clothes for a lot of washes, if ever!
