OttoNavi FD12FC-67519GPS in-Dash GPS Multimedia Navigation System

This is the first one star review I have written. To start with Amazon was great about sending a second one and then refunding me. I bought this to put into a 2014 Ford Focus SE. The one star doesn't have as much to do with the unit as it does OttoNavi customer service.Fist off, the installation was very simple, it was plug and play, so I thought. The problem with it is that it doesn't receive 12V switching power. After playing with it for a while I took it to a local installation shop and asked them to look at it. When he inserted 12 volts into the acc wire in the harness it powered on. With that in mind I thought I just got a bad one and sent it back. The next one did the exact same thing. I called OttNavi to ask about ways to make it work all the guy did was blame it on ford for having different models and tell me to return it. I then asked if he could reccomend a model that would work he didn't have an answer and again told me to just return it. So I did!This might be a good idea for someone who knows more about car wiring than i do. My concern was that if I added the power to it to make it work would that cause a back feed into the car and mess something else up. I was not able to get an answer for that, plus I did not want to alter the factory wiring harness at all or tap into a fuse to get the power. Good luck to anyone else who tries this, but I cannot reccomend it especially when there tech support don't want to bother with you and just tell you to send it back.
