Tip for wearing
This foot brace does what it's supposed to do. It should because for what it is it's a bit pricey. $25 is about the maximum I expected to pay for this, but I brought it because it was right for me.Putting it on was another issue and here are my tips to make the process smoother since it's a bit of a handful at first.1) Don't try to put it on before putting your shoes on.2) Put the device into your shoe first, then slide your foot into the shoe.3) If your shoe is snug and there is a removable shoe liner, take the liner out while you're using the device.4) Put the device on over a fine, lightweight pair of socks. Thick socks will cause congestion with the device and your foot will feel too bound up.The rest I think is self-evident.

Foot Brace
This brace is well-made and sturdy. It should last indefinitely. The wearer says it is comfortable. and he can't even tell he is wearing it. The brace slips into the shoe (remove the insert in the shoe, insert the brace, and place the insert over the brace back into the shoe). The part of the brace that goes up the leg goes under the pant legs, and no one can tell you're wearing it. It helps with foot drop and helps to get the toe up to help prevent dragging or catching of the foot. It does help!

Disappointing
The leg support was uncomfortable and difficult to use. I am returning it.

Better than the $100 ones
The foot piece is smaller and the calf hight is shorter than the $100 hospital supplied one I received. I am short and don’t have wide feet so this works so well for me.What I don’t like is that on the inside at the top of the calf the velcro closure strap is secured with a kind of “washer” inside next to your skin or sock/pant leg which is a velcro type disc that is scratchy and “sticks” to socks and pant legs destroying the material. It was necessary to cut discs of old tee shirt material to stick over the velcro “washers” to protect my expensive medical socks, pant legs, and skin.Other than that I am very satisfied.

For good support, I need an additional strap
I got this brace to use with slip-on shoes, and it does fit in my shoes, however I've determined that I need an additional strap around the ankle to keep my heel from popping out of the brace when I walk. I happened to have a Velcro strap from another AFO that I'm using when I wear this brace, but I think the manufacturer should include one with the brace.

Good value for incremental improvement.
There's probably a video out there showing how to put this gadget on/off. I should have watched it as I did a lot of cussing over 10-15 trying to get it on. Felt like it pinched my foot but it really didn't By the third time I was donning it in 30 seconds. I've had it on for several hours as I write this and have to look down to see if it's still there. I don't notice it as I walk but neither do I drag my toes which can cause tripping. When I take them off I do notice as I'm more trip prone. I won't be going one-on-one with Caitlin Clark anytime soon, but the incremental improvement is well worth the modest cost. Good call by my PT.

helps a great deal.
I have neuropathy in my right foot which causes me to trip since it won't lift. This brace keeps my foot from dropping and tripping. Helps quite a bit

Needs straps across foot portion
The foot doesn't stay in place due to lack of a strap on the lower portion
