Wire your stereo in style
It is really a five star wire, because it is 12guage and it is very well made. I know, because I worked once in a factory that made wire. But, the reason I gave it a four star is because the add was misleading. I was looking for speaker wire for PA speakers. PA wire is round and this wire is flat. This is better suited for Home Stereo units. I'm sorry Pyle (you're really 5 stars.) I do hope my reviews are helpful. I try to be as honest as possible. I guess it boils down to how much knowledge one has on a particular item or should I say (subject). I will say this, if I feel my knowledge is limited, I will not do a review.

Nice wire, feels good, easy to work with (but it's not 12 gauge)
This is not bad wire, it's actually quite nice, easy to solder, very flexible. There is just one thing wrong with it, it's not even CLOSE to being 12 gauge. According to my digital micrometer it's between 14 and 16 (closer to 16) gauge. All that nit picking aside it's not bad for hooking up stereo speakers (unless you really wanted 12 gauge in which case don't buy this).I'm using it to connect a pair of JBL Control Ones in one of our video studios, these are just for confidence monitoring so not exactly a critical monitoring path. This wire was easy to install because it's flexible rubber rather than vinyl like you typically find on cheap lamp cord, the rubber bends easily and feels good.I had enough wire left over to make some short 3-foot speaker cables for plugging my Marshall 100 watt amps into 4x12 cabs, again I like the flexibility of this wire, it's soft. No tone degradation that i can hear.I'd give it five stars if they claimed it was 14 gauge instead of 12, as it is they are not being exactly truthful.Good luck and good music to all

12-ga speaker wire
I don't think this is actually 12-ga. wire... it LOOKS closer to 16-ga.; I didn't have anything to measure it with... but it works, and for the price is a LOT cheaper than buying a spool of zip-cord from an electrical-supply store. I used it to wire a set of speakers for a classroom. Each speaker required about 35' of wire. They work fine: no problems. The insulation was heavy enough to let me snake it over a suspended ceiling without skinning it on the back side of the metal support grid, and flexy enough I didn't have to fight to get it to turn corners. Decent value for the money.

Works great.
Flat and easily pliable to fit around corners or stapled to moulding.

Decent wire
It will do the job. Very standard speaker wire. Not the best and not the worst but it works.

Good basic speaker wire
I used it to set up a small secondary 5.1 system. The housing is flexible and easily stripped with the right tools. Other reviews criticized the gauge of the wire, but it seems to me to be close if not exactly 12 gauge (as measured by good wire stippers). It is not MIT or Audioquest cable in gauge or housing, but for small systems, it works great.

Pyle-Pro PSCBLR100 100 Feet 12 AWG Spool Speaker Cable with Rubber Jacket
This is where the problem lies on the cable itself is written Pyle Pro High Performance 12GA Cable... the cable is 12GA not the wire as is stated in the description (12 AWG). It would be nice if they would correct their description so it isn't misleading. They shouldn't have 12 AWG in the description anywhere because when you receive the cable it isn't written anywhere on the spool or cable. The spool that the wire comes on only measures 4 3/4" in diameter by 3 3/4" in height and you have a 100' of wire. I don't think that you could fit a 100' of 12 AWG speaker cable on such a small spool. This is more like a 16 AWG with a 12 GA jacket. I gave it only 2 stars because I was looking to receive 12 AWG speaker cable. If you are looking for 16 AWG speaker cable of the flat type that if you start a cut in the middle of the cable you could pull the two wires apart.... then this is a nice cable. If you are looking for 12 AWG speaker cable DON"T BUY THIS!!

Looks well built and definitely 12 gauge!
I saw many reviews here and was a bit skeptical about this product till it arrived and I used it. The giant size spool of cable arrived very securely. This is definitely a 12 gauge cable with good insulation. Its probably way too much cable for my needs, but what the heck I can always move my speakers around in future and will not have to run buy more cable :)Additionally for this price there was absolutely no other deal even close.

Great value speaker cable
Great value speaker cable. Way thinner than my previous cable which was about 6awg and purchased many years ago when I still believed the salesmen telling you it made a difference. This stuff sounds exactly the same, is easier to hide and was a decent amount cheaper. If you are fishing it through walls etc., it is quite bendy so you'll need to use a proper fish line. If you try to push it through using the rigidity of the cable, it'll be like playing pool with a piece of rope.Insulation is nice and soft (at least when new) so it strips back very easily.Great cable which does a perfect job and is cheap to boot.

Not 12AWG
Not 12AWG, this is around 13/14AWG, would give 5 stars if actually listed as 14 gauge.
