RECREATION DAY - EVERGREY

This listing doesn't specify it's for the new Remasters Edition of Recreation Day, but I punched in the UPC from the CD I got and it came to this product page.Whoever oversaw this "remaster" effort totally dropped the ball. For over 15 years I've been waiting for a good remaster of this since the original clips like crazy especially during the title track. I was so excited when I saw this had been re-released since it's by far one of my favorite discs of all time. This CD sounds near identical to my 2003 LTD ED CD, and looking at the waveforms in Sound Forge confirms the two are near identical. What's worse, the error cutting off the beginning of Trilogy of the Damned is still present! How could that not be fixed this time! What a waster opportunity. I wonder if the band even heard or approved these and the other "remasters". Definitely do your homework on these Evergrey remasters. I took a chance and $19 later I would have been better off sticking with the original.
