Very smooth dram.Compared to jw black, double black is a bit less intense and it doesn't have that walnutty nose that I like so much with jw black. But this is nice nonetheless. It has more islay feel to it. But I actually can't really smell the smoke but more like feel it. It has I call it wide nose that smoky whiskey has. For my current taste black is slightly tastier, but double black is smoother and when swallowing I can taste that nice smoke that black doesn't have. Aftertaste is just a bit to simple and short but that may be also good occasionally.Very good blend if you can find it discounted. (under 30£).
