Stanbroil Fire Pit Installation Kit with 1/2" Chrome Key Valve for Propane Gas Connection, 90K BTU Max

The set up works great. It attaches easily to the tank and the fire pan of the fire table I built, but there is one thing. The attachment to the tank is a hard 90 degree turn. I had to cut part of the safety cage that surrounds the valve to allow the hard turn right off of the tank valve to accomidtate the set up. Its my fault, I should have notice the set up, but a simple modification and I was on my way! great product.

Worked as described with my new FirePit installation. Make sure to use “propane specific” (yellow colored) teflon tape for any fittings to ensure it won’t leak over time.

I use these for my whiskey barrel fire pits.

I was able to convert a old wood burning "Chiminia" to a propane fired fire pit for use on my deck. The 18" burner assemble fit perfectly and this install kit seems well built and controls the flame height properly. I just ordered more fire glass inorder to cover the burner. I like it!

This was part of a Christmas gift for my wife. In the photo you can see the temp setup I did to present it to her on Christmas. If you are setting up a fire pit, YOU NEED THE KEY VALVE,Period. You cannot control the flame with the bauble on the take. This assemble made hookup easy. The valve is the same we use on our fireplaces and fire pits in the million dollar homes we build.

I built a fire table, and used this to feed the pre-built pan that I also purchased from Amazon. No leaks, all the appropriate connections I needed. Just make sure you have some pipe tape as these are pipe threads...Will update if I have any sturdiness issues...but so far so good.

I ordered a fire table unit and tried to access the parts locally. It was impossible to find the proper gas fittings and off the shelf hose lengths. This item worked perfectly for my application.
