It just works but started to malfunction after 31 days
Update: so the screen flashes on and off sometimes I check it and it just off the screen had to be reset a few times it stopped letting me adjust the charge voltage fixed after factory reset which erased all my logs emailed the MFG they wanted me to take it apart which is normally fine but the thing is brand new so that's pretty weak they also wanted me to stand there and try to catch the screen malfunction if I did not they would not help at all 1 day past return time DON'T BUY support was non-existent Always the question with equipment like this is how long will it last I have always overrated equipment if you keep 70% of load it will last longer so far it works great perfect even I love it I have 2000watts of solar on a 24v system it does graphs and reports logs and so on its a great piece of equipment IF IT LASTS

it works
its only been about a month or so it works fine, once you select the battery voltage (in my case 12v) it stays in its memory even when the battery is disconnected. I'm only using tow panels at the moment, Solar array option is quite limiting for a 12v system, it allows up to 1100w max, and the max input voltage for 12v system is 60v

Good product and customer service.
Initially I had trouble setting up my system due to using solar panels with built in regulators for direct connection to LiFePo4 batteries. I communicated with Ampintv through email and was quickly able to deduce my problem. They were very helpful with their customer service and now my system is up and providing power to my batteries and system.

Very unhappy customer
Set up was easy. Very easy to follow instructions so I was very impressed. Unit worked perfect for about a month, them just shut off. Absolutely piss poor customer service. When I wanted to return they wanted me to send video's of the screen while doing a few different things. Unit was DEAD!!!! How could I send the videos they wanted?? DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT !!

so far so good
It is up and running for one week. I have 8 panels at 250 watts per panel. 4/2 set up. Working very well. Two 25 volt batteries. 100 amp hour per battery.

Voltage reads 0.3volts off compared to all the rest of my equipment ... makes settings even more difficult to decide for my lithium batteries Wish it had a quieter fan for low setting.

Good controller. Was installed 2 years ago. Works very good

Facile à lire. Se que j'ai pas aimé la langue en français n'est pas admissible.

Installed and programmed for a 24VDC battery system, once it reaches 29VDC, it pulsed the battery with 55VDC cyclically until turned off. Broke my $1500 inverter.... luckily the lifepo4 battery BMS protected itself. Turning the charge maximum voltage to 27.3VDC stopped the 55VDC pulses...

It claims to be compatible with lead acid and lithium batteries. The most basic acceptable charging method for these is constant current charge “bulk” which takes the batteries up to some voltage value, commonly 14.4-14-7 on 12v battery. Then constant voltage until current drops. Then a float. The description makes it sounds like it has 3 step charging. In practice this charge only float charges at a single voltage. Its constant current is only the current limit of the charger and just arrives at the float voltage. Neither lithium or lead acid can be properly charged with this method. These could work for lead acid in stand by situations where there is no daily load. Lithium batteries will not charge properly. Either compromising too high of a float, or less than full capacity use of the battery. Lead acid in loaded applications will suffer from sulfating. I returned the product as we were having issues with low AH capacity on lead acid batteries, due to not getting a topping charge. Other than charge profiles, I really like the product. Strong lugs, decent construction. They do charge batteries and doesn’t seem to have a high parasitic load. If they could update the software, if that’s the limiting factor; these would be great.
