Foot Switch, Foot Operated Pedal Controller Power Switch Woodworking Machine Control, 5-ft Cable with Piggyback Plug, Deadman Style

A while back I purchased a Stripmeister wire stripper so I can recycle all the old wire I remove from construction projects. The stripper has paid for itself many times over, but I always wanted to make the task even easier. Before, everytime you wanted to use the machine, you would either have to turn it on and adjust the speed or just leave it running while you got more wire ready. I picked up this foot switch to see if this would change anything, Oh man, what a difference. Now I turn on the machine, adjust the the speed and take my foot off the switch when I need more wire. Then when I am ready, step on the foot switch and start feeding wire, I have easily shaved 25% of the work time off this process so I am making even more money. And the best part is, the motor isn't running continuously, and the on/off switch should last a lot longer. I now use this foot switch on my "wet" tile saw, my small table saw (not recommend for safety reasons) and other e-powered tools that I use regularly in my shop. I will be ordering a few more so I don't have to keep moving just one around all over my shop. This switch works great, is easy to set up, and will help you keep your eyes on your work. This switch is NOT recommended for large power tools pulling more than 10 amps or over 1/2hp.

this is second time purchasing this product. it works great, just like described. i use it for the shop vac at salon to sweep hair up to and not having to use dust pan. very convenient. only slight issue with the durability of product. had not been a full year and it already had to be replaced. was it due to the amount of use? not sure. good thing was inexpensive and since have prime, no delivery fee. cords came detached inside foot unit. could be an easy fix and would have back up just in case.

Works great. Using this with an electric log splitter that required two-handed operation and put the operator's face way too close to the wood being split!

Great foot switch easy to plug n go

I bought this to use with my stained glass grinder. It works very well and I've had it for over a year. Once you have it it's hard to go back to turn that switch on and off on the grinder.

This is a well built foot switch and is easy to use. Just plug it into the wall socket and then plug your device into the switch. If you have a table saw, this is a no-brainer. The price was very reasonable, but the peace of mind is priceless. I will get one for my drill press next. This is essential safety equipment. Get one and keep your fingers!

It is about the size of your hand. Small. Works good. Just not big enough for what I was intending to use it for.
