Easily the best salami I've ever had. I can't believe it's this good. Something from Amazon beats literally anything I've ever bought from a butcher or deli. Unreal.

The flavor is amazing. It’s just so hard to find a full log this size anymore. Definitely worth the 7 day wait.

This is an outstanding product and I highly recommend it -- as long as you can obtain it from a different supplier.For unknown reasons, the supplier shipped the salami on a Thursday using USPS Priority Mail. Using Priority Mail was great, but shipping on a Thursday guaranteed that the salami would sit in a warehouse over the weekend and be delivered the following Monday. In addition, it was packed with only one small ice pack -- a five-inch-square pack trying to keep an 18+-inch chub of salami cool, in a non-insulated box! The fulfillment company does not seem to know how to ship perishable items.Thankfully the weather was cold, so I figured it was worth doing a sight/smell test. After peeling the wrap and cutting into the chub, it was pretty apparent that everything was fine, so I hand-sliced a piece and did a taste test. WOW. Great, intense flavor without excessive salt. A little while later I sliced several more pieces and made a sub with it, some provolone, some arugula, drizzled with homemade dressing, on a sourdough roll. Absolute heaven!If you're thinking about ordering this, it would be worth either paying for overnight delivery, or perhaps ordering directly from Molinari and Sons. I thought about making the rating three stars, but the salami was so good I rounded up instead of down...

I’ve had a deep love for this well seasoned brand of Molinari & Sons salami since high school and I’m older than dirt now. My whole family loves it too and if I could afford to buy one every other month, I would. The taste and quality of this product is always consistent, delicious and so tender to eat. The fat to meat balance is sublime. I received this one just a day before Thanksgiving and it’ll be a memory after tomorrow! We serve a number of antipasto trays and this salami is always the star. Will be back for another one for Christmas or New Year’s when it’s the season for family sharing. Love, love this chub. Great size and reasonably priced considering this is special and celebratory feasting in my house! Oh by the way, they make great late night sandwiches too!

We can't get this in the town we live in, so we have to order it online. It's a 'sometime food' for us, as Elmo says, because it is expensive and also processed meat just ain't good for the them arteries.Delicious!! We love a good chub.

Flavor, texture, aroma, mouth-fill, etc etc. Everything abut this salami reminds me of home (I was born and raised in Italy). I buy one of those every few months when I'm close to run out. They store well in refrigerator when vacuum sealed before or after aging. Most of the salami come with a string attached to one end. I use it to air dry it in my pantry before slicing it. Just hang it for 4 to no more than 8wks. After the 8-9 week it gets too dry and hard to cut. If it does not have the string make one up like I did on this one.
