Really good panel, works exactly as advertised.

Extremely good gaming monitor - can confirm 2k resolution at 144hz, the design of the stand is amazing too (didn't even need to use a mounting bracket) and it comes with all the cables & alternatives in the box. The downside is that it does NOT have a 1ms pixle response time unless you put it into the super-fast mode that causes loads of artifacts, so IMO not honest marketing. The normal fast mode is great though - definately 5ms or less which is what you'd expect anyway. The colour is a bit high-contrasty so you may want to recalibrate it out of the box. Overall very solid choice for a decent gaming monitor - would recommend

One important thing to notice that this comes up with EU power adapter instead of UK one. In order to get correct power adapter you need to contact LG helpline(they are simply amazing - one second and you speak with real person) and they will arrange this to be sent to you.

Amazing picture and the 144hz 1440p 4 ms input time is great for any FPS game. this monitor next to my LG 4 k monitor this destroys that for colour and picture quality. the hdr is not the best in windows but looks really good on Xbox overall amazing quality from LG plus people say the black is not that good I have to say it is really good to me anyways.

When this arrived it came with an EU power supp,y and no UK plug; when I called LG's (extremely helpful) customer support about this issue they revealed that the model I had been sold was EU-specific and was not under warranty in the UK. They also pointed out that Curry's UK were selling the same model over £100 cheaper. Unacceptable, and I am making a return immediately.

I bought mine from Overclockers when they first came out. I will say it's worth buying but not above £500. Realistically you don't want to be spending over £380 if possible (in my opinion). The colours are so over saturated it looks beyond awful unless you use sRGB mode. The brightness is so-so but acceptable. The monitors motion handling is great as long as you use Adaptive Sync in combination with V-Sync. Sadly still somewhat blurry when moving very quickly in fast paced games such as CS:GO. It is good.. just not as good as you'd hope. I guess for an IPS panel its ok? The stand is flimsy and the actual monitor has a larger bezel than pictures make out.. there are a few extra mm of unused space around the monitor before you even get to the bezel. Cheeky. My biggest issue with it is that any content under 144hz looks off. 60hz capped games or video content just seem a bit jittery or just nowhere near as smooth as viewing a movie on a phone or TV. Dark games are a no-no as the blacks do look grey and you WILL see the backlight glow that comes with these types of panel. I expected worse from it though - not so bad with the glow. No dead pixels on my monitor. I think it's attempting to be a jack of all trades but doesn't even really manage that. Sorry to be so negative but it's insane at this price. I can't recommend an alternative so who knows, this might be your only choice at this price range?

Finalmente mi historia ha llegado a su fin. He pasado por numerosos monitores IPS 2k 144hz, el asus pg279q, el acer xb271uh y también por algún que otro monitor VA 2K 144hz como es el lg 32gl650f. Pues bien, del asus probé 2 con muchos problemas de backlight bleed asique los devolví. Del acer probé 3 (si 3), todos ellos con problemas, los dos primeros con mucho bleeding como el anterior asus y el último me llegó con una uniformidad de panel para hacerselo mirar, se veían los colores amarillentos por la izquierda y azulados por la derecha. El monitor VA tenía muchos problemas de smearing, la transición de los pixeles en colores oscuros era muy lenta y hacía que en los juegos sobretodo shooters como el farcry5 en los que había que jugar de noche fuera un suplicio ya que todas las imagenes dejaban un rastro detrás muy llamativo. Finalmente desistí y lo dejé pasar y esperé pacientemente a que salieran otros monitores. Y creo que finalmente con este LG 27gl850 han dado en el clavo por un precio muy comedido (500euros) -En cuanto al montaje muy sencillo (quizás es que ya soy experto en montaje de monitores jeje). El acabado aunque es plasticoso no da problemas y funciona como toca. -En cuanto al panel es un nuevo panel (nanoips) de creación por parte de LG en el que se dice que puede llegar a 1ms gtg, cosa que es verdad pero no es funcional. Es decir, puede llegar pero para eso tienes que ponerlo en modo "fastest" lo que hace que haya un overshoot de caballo y sea imposible jugar a un juego con esto. Por tanto yo aconsejo utilizar los modos "normal" o "fast" que tienen un tiempo de respuesta muy bueno sin producir overshoot. -En cuanto a los colores el monitor viene configurado de fabrica y utiliza wide color gamut lo que es un problema cuando estás en windows ya que a día de hoy todavía no tiene un la opción de manejar estos colores por lo que al no saber que el monitor utiliza el wide color gamut lo que hace es sobresaturar los colores cosa que en los juegos puede ser algo que le guste a la gente pero a la hora de navegar o ver videos en Youtube o Twitch o películas se ven con colores irreales. Si no os gusta siempre podeis poner la opcion de srgb emulado que es la gama normal de otros monitores y no sobresatura y los colores siguen siendo buenos. Lo malo de este modo es que limita mucho las opciones que puedes modificar del monitor (contraste, colores etc) por tanto si queréis modificar el RGB tendréis que hacerlo desde la opción de calibración de Windows o desde el panel de control de Nvidia o utilizando un colorímetro y crear un perfil. - En cuanto a la uniformidad del panel estoy muy contento. No es perfecto pero estas imperfecciones no se notan en el uso del día a día que es lo importante. -Finalmente decir que estoy muy contento con el backlight bleed ya que el mío me ha llegado practicamente perfecto. Eso sí algo de ips glow si que se nota en la esquina inferior izquierda pero es poco apreciable. Pues eso, por fin un monitor IPS a la altura!! Muy recomendado

Ich habe den Monitor zum Angebotspreis von 432€ gekauft. Als er endlich nach Wochen des Wartens ankam war ich gespannt ob das Panel keine Fehler aufweist. Der Bildschirm kam gut verpackt und ohne jegliche Blessuren bei mir an. Nachdem der Bildschirm sehr schnell aufgebaut war also direkt erst einmal anschließen. Das Displayport Kabel ist wirklich knapp bemessen, ein halber Meter mehr hätte nicht geschadet. Und dann hat es keine Sekunde gedauert der Bildschirm war erkannt, an und die voreingestellten Modi hatten eine tolle Farbwiedergabe. Selbst ohne Neukalibrierung waren die Werte super und vollkommen ausreichend für die normale Nutzung (Nicht-Grafiker). Es waren keine toten Pixel vorhanden, kein bzw. nur marginales BLB (was aber auch an meiner Einbildung und der Reflektion des Tisches liegen kann). Ebenso habe ich auch kein Glow wahrgenommen. Die Blickwinkelstabilität ist auch vollkommen ausreichen. Die Verstellung des Monitors geht sehr leicht von der Hand. Der Ständer macht mit dem Plastik nicht den hochwertigsten Eindruck. Zu den anderen Rezensionen möchte ich auch noch etwas sagen: IPS-Glow und BLB (Backlight-Bleeding) sind absolut unterschiedliche Fehler. IPS-Glow tritt bei hellen (weißen) Hintergründen auf. IPS-Glow ist bei Seitlicher Betrachtung des Bildschirms ein Schimmer des RGB Farbraums. BLB dagegen ist dagegen die ungleichmäßige Ausleuchtung, welche auf Bildern, dank der unterschiedlichen Wahrnehmung von Licht im Auge und der Linse in der Kamera, immer viel stärker ausfällt. Des weiteren fällt BLB meist nur sehr stark bei dunkler Umgebung und dunklem Bildschirminhalt auf, demnach oftmals bei normaler Nutzung kaum auffällt. Alles in allem ist der Monitor top. Für den Preis von 579€ hätte ich Ihn allerdings wohl nicht gekauft. Wer auf die 144Hz verzichten kann (Ich wollte es nur einmal ausprobieren) sollte auf einen anderen Monitor ausweichen. Auf der Arbeit habe ich noch den LG 27UD88-W und kann Ihn absolut als Alternative ohne 144Hz empfehlen. Wer auf den Lightning Anschluss verzichten kann wird mit dem LG|27UD59-W wohl auch ausreichend bedient.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un monitor de 2k a más de 75hz con panel IPS y este me ha sorprendido gratamente. Había probado anteriormente un monitor Gigabyte que tuve que devolverlo varias veces por fugas de luz y he de decir que este le da mil vueltas ha pesar de tener casi las mismas caracteristicas en cuestión de tipo de panel, Hz, y tiempo de respuesta. Al encender el monitor se puede apreciar la gran calidad de imagen y los colores de la misma. El brillo es demasiado alto, pero se pued eregular para adaptarlo a tu gusto. He decir que ha pesar de que se ve claramente en fondos negros que tiene fugas de luz estas no son molestas, ya que las fugas de luz que he experimentado en otros monitores era demasiado acentuada y tornaban el negro en amarillo, en este monitor lo torna blanco, pero no muy intenso por lo que no molesta. En general estoy bastante contento con la compra.

I'm coming from an ACER Predator XB270HU "27 QWHD 144Hz IPS Gsync & Samsung CRG5 "27 FUll HD 240Hz Super VA Gsync displays. Not that I wanted a new IPS display from a different manufacturer (Not AO Optronics with their bad quality control and panels overall) I went with the new LG Nano IPS display and man was I suprised when getting it at such a low price 413 euro here in Germany. Display had no dead pixels, or any defect, almost zero backlight bleed and really acceptable black levels for semi dark room in the evening hours. During the day the room is bright and the display is also very bright still. Out the box had to do almost no color calibration even though I went to TFTCentral.co.uk & Rtings.com to look up settings and ICC profiles. Well with my unit it was not required as it came so well calibrated that I only needed to lower the brightness a bit and red a tiny bit (from 50 to 48). Left it in Gamer 1 setting and was good to go. Been gaming and watching Youtube, Netflix and Disney+ on it for few days with these settings and didn't feel the need to change it at all. Having the ACER Predator on the left side next to this I see the difference in color and accuracy on the LG 27GL850, so much more color richness due to the 10-bit color depth and Nano IPS. Highly recommend this monitor if you looking for "27 QWHD 144Hz Nano IPS display. Its got the lowest input latency of this type monitor and amazing wide color gamut.

Primer lugar y lo que hay que remarcar son 2 cosas más negativas y lo demás es positivo: 1º El Contrastes de negros son horribles y mi unidad tiene IPS Glowing/Bleeding que se nota solamente en la oscuridad y me hace pensar si cambiarlo. Normalmente suelo usarlo con luz (y se ve perfecto), pero cuando lo veo a oscuras, me arrepiento demasiado. 2º El Brillo por defecto esta al 100% (obviamente se puede reducir con el OSD) y hace que pronuncie mucho más el fallo de arriba y hasta el punto de ser molesto. (Que no es un defecto de por si, porque se puede arreglar bajandolo pero no quita la molestia) y que es recomendable ir usar un detector de lux para igualar el brillo entre todos tus monitores si tienes varios (usando el movil mismo), Aunque sea de la misma marca, por ejemplo el 27GL850 lo tengo a 0 de brillo y el 22MP57VQ-P lo tendre entre 17-25 aprox Ahora bien, Todo son ventajas, ademas de lo tipico, de que se ve bien porque IPS, 1440p, 144Hz. FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible y bla bla (Miraos cualquier analisis en youtube del monitor). Quiero remarcar varias cosas respecto a compatibilidad multimedia que no mencionan: - El Monitor acepta señal 4K y permite hacer un escalado hacia abajo con lo cual permite funcionar con una PS4 Pro (que solo funciona en 1080p o 4K) permitiendo mejor calidad que si fuera 1080p y escalando para arriba (que normalmente se ve peor) y el HDR es compatible con la PS4 Pro y obviamente si teneis una Xbox One S/X os dejan ponerlo directamente a 1440p. - Es compatible con Xiaomi Mi Box S (a Resolucion 2K/4K) pero SOLO si tienes el Freesync/G-Sync/Adaptative Sync DESACTIVADO, en caso contrario solo se muestra 1080p para abajo y por defecto a 720p (que se ve horrible) y Sobre los Specs, de los 1440p@144hz desde una persona que viene de 1080p@60fps, Merece la pena más los 1440p que los 144hz a la hora de trabajar por el espacio de trabajo, los 144hz obviamente se ve más fluido a la hora de mover el cursor, las ventanas pero en el dia a dia es más bien anecdótico. Los 1440p jugando no es nada que no se pudiera experimentar haciendo downsampling mediante DSR. Obviamente la densidad de pixeles cuenta mucho pero no es nada expectacular que te cambie la vida (teniendo un 22"@1080p). Eso si, prefiero un monitor a 27" 1440p a uno de 37@1080p, eso tenedlo claro, La densidad por pulgada respecto las pulgadas de un monitor es algo primario. TL;DR: Lo Recomiendo, hay pocos monitores en el mercado español que sean 1440p, 144hz, Freesync/G-Sync/Adaptative Sync, IPS, etc etc, El tema que mi unidad tuviera Bleeding afecta al resultado final, pero si mi monitor no tuviera ningun defecto 24/7. Lo recomendaria aún mas.
