The chalk came in in one piece, with the exception of one piece being broken. The chalk does everything it says it will do. My only complaint is that the chalk is on the fragile side. I have used taylor chalk for years, my old vendor went out of business. I saw this product on Amazon and thought I would give it a try. It works great and as expected, just a touch thinner than I am accustomed to and expected. Overall, I recommend this chalk. So easy to see, easy to remove and with the variety of colors I don't have to go searching for a wax marker. The case is a bonus! The chalk fits nice and securely.

My mom recently decided to pick up sewing. She wanted a bunch of stuff and these were on her list. She didn't expect these specifically but she is very grateful for them. I guess the shape makes them, easy to hold and apply. So far so good. No complaints.

I love that they had different colors. I always have the color I need to work with. Plus the case is a great way to store them so they don't get broken.

I was replacing my tailors chalk that I was foolish enough to drop and break. These are inexpensive, arrive quickly and you get quite a few of them. They are a bit smaller and thinner, but actually not a bad size, but fairly fragile. My problem is this, they are soft. Too soft. A brand new chalk with a sharp point winds up with a large blunt line after the first use. They work, but don’t expect to make a fine precise line with one. I’m going back to the remaining shards of my old one and continue to sharpen them occasionally with my rule, it’s still a better tool than these.

Works just like I was expecting. 2 were broken on arrival but overall, very pleased

4/30 of the pieces of chalk arrived broken inside of the storage box. I suppose that's ok; I still have 26 good ones. What gets me is the fact that the storage box does not stay closed and this was clearly noticed at packaging given the fact that it Came with a Rubber Band on it to keep it closed.
