This worked with no problems, seems brighter than the original one (or maybe the original one is 5 yo so it has less brightness nowadays). There are two caveats: (1) there's no hole in the screen for the classical speaker position, just transparent glass. It's fine, who's using the classical speaker next to the ear nowadays anyway (either speakers or headphones). (2) The mesh underneath said hole is not there, so for esthetic purposes save the old one and attach it to the transparent "hole" on the new screen.

Screens have a black opaque back, however this one came with two scratches in it that allowed light through. The scratches had been colored over with permanent marker before shipping. Light still came through. Terrible product and quality control.

When my husband dropped and busted his phone, he was so disappointed because he loves that phone and hated to pay $200 + to get screen replaced...we decided to just try the self replacement screen and hoped we didnt just waste $...omygosh, it is amazing how simple the process is, the hardest part was removing the old glue from his phone so the new screen would get a perfect seal...PERFECT for 1/4 price opposed to taking phone to repair shop....delivery was delayed by 5 days according to estimated delivery
