Poofy and comfortable!
This was a great buy. I rarely get too hot under this ,even with a duvet cover on it. I’ve had it over two years and the stuffing hasn’t shifted or bunched. And I love that my duvet cover looks smooth rather than having big squares like so many do. Definitely a keeper.

Great for hot sleepers! Cozy! Soft!
I needed a new comforter because my favorite one ripped and was getting old. I’m a very hot sleeper and it took me forever to find a blanket that fit my needs. I came across this comforter and decided to give it a try. First time sleeping with it last night. I did not get hot at all in it. Its so soft and cozy. Even more cozy than my old blanket. I’m very impressed and relieved that this comforter fits my needs. I absolutely love it! I was hesitant to throw out my old blanket and now I can throw it out with out a hesitation. I definitely recommend this comforter. Highly. It’s awesome! I’m very very happy with my purchase.

Even though it's plush, it doesn't hold in the heat.ove that it's plant based.
I absolutely love this comforter! It's fluffy and light, super comfy and doesn't get as hot as my thinnner, down alternative comforter. Definitely breathes, though there are times i just run too hot, this comforter does not hold in the heat. My last one was stifling. I can sleep throughout the night and i love that it's so white a clean looking..... beautiful comforter to own. Lots of pluses ++++++

Cooling without sacrifice
I'm a hot sleeper and needed something "cooling" but couldn't find the right thing until I found this. I tried the Buffy Breeze comforter and while it was definitely the most "cool" and breathable comforter I tried (out of many, including this one) it was just too heavy weight and significantly more expensive. This Codi comforter has a surprising ability to dissipate body heat, particular because it's also fluffy and voluminous (more fluffy than the Buffy Breeze). I highly recommend a 100% linen cover for this to maximize breathability. Remember when bedding is described as "cooling" it just means it doesn't trap body heat. The cover you put on your comforter matters. Don't put use microfibers, high thread counts or Egyptian cotton, jersey, silk or flannel materials. Best materials are 100% linen, percale cotton or bamboo.

Not really cooling
This comforter is not cooling if you sleep under it. It is initially cool to the touch, but does absorb body heat and becomes warm very quickly. My husband and I were discussing how it does feel cool to the touch on the top side, but under it we were still getting very warm. He joked that maybe we have it upside down. Seriously though, the only way it might be considered cooling is if you sleep on top of it and move every minute or so to a cool spot. The coolness is just the initial feel of the tencel fabric cover which eventually becomes warm from body heat. The filling is just polyester and we found no discernably better cooling effect to it vis a vis a very lightweight down comforter with a cotton cover.

Perfect amount of warmth and cooling!
I almost purchased a brand name version for double the price but after reviewing this product I thought I’d give this one a try. It has not disappointed! It’s lightweight, has a solid amount of fluff, reasonably priced, and performs as stated. I’m very glad I tried this product out. Well worth the purchase. I’m currently using this with a eucalyptus duvet cover and it provides just the right amount of heat and cooling for my Northern California environment. In a warmer environment I would think the comforter and cover would be too warm.

almost awesome but...
This product is exactly what it says, despite the reviews saying it isn't. It says eucalyptus fabric and down alternative fill. as in not eucalyptus fill.and any of these people could have looked up what down alternative meant.I am a very hot sleeper and this is still a very light and cool duvet. I don't get hot under it. Until I put it in a duvet cover then it gets warmer, but that, as we should all know by the time we are 10... is because now it's layers. So take those reviews with a huge grain of salt. people who don't pay attention do be salty and like to exaggerate or forget important facts. My only real complaint about this duvet is one big enough to rob it of 2 stars... and I wanted to rob it of 3 but felt like I should be nice since so many people were rating it down instead of their own attentiveness....It needs more than a loop on every corner to secure it in duvet covers. My duvet cover is eucalyptus also.I have severe sensory issues and eucalyptus is just about the only material that never hurts me like sand paper. it always feels nice on my skin.but only having 4 loops on the duvet means it's only secure to the corners of the duvet cover. and the rest of it is constantly sliding around inside and I have to shake it out and readjust it inside the duvet cover sometimes multiple times a night because I'm not an easy sleeper.just getting in and out of bed, so you put the blanket down and then pull it back up you'll often find you only pulled up the duvet cover and most of the duvet (except the corners) got left behind.it's actually infuriating after a while.i wish i could sew without my hands needing to be in a brace for a week so I could just add some extra loops myself.instead I'm just looking for another duvet.this one is white and it's not safe outside a duvet cover.

Perfect!
I love this comforter! My husband is basically a walking heater, and I am always cold, so we normally sleep with a very thin blanket and I have another blanket on top on my side which is very annoying. When I got the Code comforter, I was surprised by the big box, and when I opened up the comforter it poofed up a LOT. And although it is perfectly poofy, oh so soft, I thought this is a comforter if you live in Iceland and my husband will be way too hot in this. I was totally surprised that neither my husband was too hot, nor was I too cold. It is the most amazing thing. Not sure why, maybe because of the airflow they mention, but this comforter is a miracle. AND it's basically like sleeping in a cloud!
