25mm CCTV Camera Lens Super Clear 5 Million Pixels 1/2'' Security Camera Lens for XiaoMi, for Firefly, for SJCAM and Other IP Cameras Default

Replaced the standard lens on a WYZE cam V2 with this lens. Compatible with case (extends <1/4" beyond edge of case through hole). Good image quality. Focus adjustable from up close (<6") to infinity by rotation (starts out focused close in). Had to mostly disassemble the WYZE camera in order to install lens. A tiny knife + isopropyl alcohol is sufficient to remove the 'glue' that is on the threads of the default WYZE camera lens. It would be best to disassemble the camera to the point of removing the visible / IR filter changer (this requires bending but not breaking plastic) before attempting to remove the glue. As it was, I removed the glue only to realize that much of it had dissolved into solution and plated out onto the glass filters; I had to disassemble and clean all the optics. Disassembly is straightforward (screws and plastic snaps), video can be found online. Glue removal was time intensive.

Turned a Wyze V3 into a Telephoto Wyze V3, worked great!

Replaced the stock lens on a Wyze Cam V4 for an aquarium camera from across the room. As you can see, the camera is very far away (it's the black thing on the left in the wide angle view). The stock lens gave a very wide panorama view of the room, and this lens gets right in on the tank. Mounting it this way, I can get a straight-on angle from slightly above, which cuts down on reflections and minimizes/eliminates distortion. You do have to take the camera apart to do this, but once I did, the lens screwed right in. Not loose, not too tight. Snug and secure, and it sticks out the front of the camera just a bit now, so I can still adjust focus even though it's all reassembled.

I installed this in my Wyze cam v3 and I am fully satisfied with the result. The view I used to get from about 2 feet can now be obtained about 20 feet away. My application is as an aquarium cam, and previously the camera had to be placed right in front of the aquarium to get a full view; now the cam is placed across the room, out-of-sight and no longer in the way. The field of view width is about 4 feet at ~20 feet away. Image quality is limited by the cam, not by the lens. Also, I confirm compatibility of the lense with the cam’s night vision, though note that at the greater distance you may need independent infrared LEDs nearer to your subject. Installation was straightforward. There are YouTube videos to walk through the process. My one alteration to the video I followed is that you do NOT need to disconnect the ribbon candle between the two interior circuit boards. Just lay them both flat on a surface with the ribbon cable still connecting them, and then carefully and gently do your work to remove the stock lens. With patience and care, I had no problem exchanging the lenses. For with the threading on the board was perfect.

Not their fault, I should have seen what angle the lens was-- width could be a little, but definitely a great product and will by again!

Fun little project for upgrading Wyze cam. Works well as a macro lens as well. The project was pretty easy and makes me want to get some other lenses to play around with. Pretty easy to focus.

Replaced the lens in a wyze v2 cam for and works great

Installed this on a wyze cam v3. Screwed right in, just like on the v2. The improvement in the clarity, and obviously zoom from the stock lens is incredible! The wide angle pic is from a v2 mounted right above the v3. Parking lot is lit by a bright led area light. Very pleased!

Sharp lens. Easy to install.

I used this on a Wyze Cam v3, I was very impressed by the clarity and zoom that this lens provides! Installation was finicky but not too hard. You will need to adjust focus but it's very easy to adjust and re-adjust with the m12 thread. I will be purchasing another one for sure!

Got this to read licence plates with a Wyze v3. Not bad to do if your a bit handy and patient. Zoomed in so much now and focus is perfect after spending some time adjusting. I’d highly recommend it for this purpose. I got two and will try to do the cam pan next. Pictures are from the same camera and same mounting location. Just watch a YouTube video and follow along.

Ok telephoto for unimportant stuff, vary bad purple fringing in full sunlight, when our birds are splashing in the bath the water droplets are all purple, my wife says it looks magical, but not clear, likely not very good on an action camera. The bird bath in the video is approximately 13 feet away from the camera, so this has pretty range, allows me to tuck the camera under our eaves and it doesn't get splashed when the birds get wet and wild. Lol
