a truely beautiful harmanica
I'm very please to have made my decision to buy the seydel solist pro. It looks great ,the wood comb is sealed and by the mouth piece it has a special material which makes it smooth to play. It is true what they say about Seydel harmanicas, the soloist pro is well made structurally and musically is a dream!! From now on I will buy Seydel harmanicas, with that I say it all!!

Seydel is a step above, the comon brand.
I will never again buy a brass harp. Their Stainless outlasts the brass 3 times over.

Sometimes Old School is just as good...
It's been awhile since I've played a wood comb harmonica... So I was surprised when the bends came with little effort, and the sound was loud and clear... And the part the made me smile, you could smell the wood... I like it. :-)

Good harmonica but don't like the cover
I have been wanting to improve my harmonica skills and practice modifying them for overblows. I previously purchased a diminished tuned Seydel, shaped like the Session, and really liked it. So I bought this hoping it would be good.Good points:-pretty airtight-good sound-easy bending-decent priceBad points:-the cover is ripping out my mustacheI can't get any overblows on it, but I kind of expect to have to modify it to perform like that. I am no overblow expert, but I can hit them all with my modified Special 20 (but they sound pretty bad).I guess I learned an important lesson here: stay away from these covers. You have to wonder what they were thinking when they made these. Just looking at the cover you know it is going to be trouble. So now I am wondering how I could modify the cover so that it doesn't grab my mustache. Please share if you have done this. Otherwise I may have just wasted $50, since, even if I get the overblows going, I will have to shave to use it.

No pain no gain?
Sounds great but it hates my mustache and my mustache hates it right back. I keep it trimmed short, too, so I'm a bit surprised.

Very good
I really enjoy playing Seydel than other brands. The quality of the product and the sound is really good, highly recommended.
